Kay Naturals make protein snacks that are pretty good. You can buy them online or at Walgreens. My favorite are the pretzels. They have 12-15 grams of protein in them. If you crave salty snacks, these would be better than wheat thins! Chese is good, as are protein bars and shakes. Just watch the carbs! Good luck!

Hello, I am going to be honest. I had major complications. That said, I am still happy I made the decision to have this surgery. It is changing my life. I am 6 months out and have lost 108 pounds total, 78 since surgery. I feel great. I can do so much now. I am loving my new life. Good luck to you. It is not an easy decision. Just remember, this is only a tool. It is still hard work, but so worth it! -

I had 170 pounds to lose, and I was just like you, I was never comfortable with the bypass. My surgeon never tried to talk me out of the sleeve either. He thought it was a perfect fit for me. Like most everyone has said, but is YOUR choice. Do not let the shrink tell you what you should do. Good luck and know that you have a lot of support from all of us on here!
