Yes! I had my gallbladder removed a month ago. Pain went to my shoulder blades too. I also noticed that my heart would beat as if I was having a heart attack. Feeling much better now. Plan on 30 days for a full recovery if its removed. You're not in bed the entire 30 days but you will have limits as to what you can do . Good luck.

Severe pain right side at the bottom of my rib cage
Snow replied to ga.peach's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I just had my gallbladder removed 4 weeks ago. I have read that there are people that still get that pain and doctors have no answer. Go figure! I hope it goes away and doesn't come back! -
I know you are all just talking about me right?
-
Congratulations now enjoy the ride! So fun getting on the scale and seeing the numbers go backwards.
-

I'm 7 months post op. Had my nighty on and was chasing my kitten in the living room. I thought my husband was clapping but he wasn't. It my my skin flapping. I stopped running right away. OMG!
-
Thank you all. I don't feel so alone in this, and you're all too funny. To be honest I will take flappy skin over tight fat any day.

No problem! I was in a dressing room and turned around and looked at my butt and said WTH is that? Good Lord in heaven I don't understand his humor sometimes.

Sleeved July 11th down 67 pounds 20 more until goal. Had my gallbladder removed on Jan. 7th and I am STILL recovering from that surgery. It seemed to have put a halt on all my progress for now even though I know weightloss slows down a lot after 6 months. Holy crap the first 6 months was a blast wasn't it?

Unfortunatly I think he's gone and not coming back.

Try not to feel bad. You're on your way to not ever having that happen again. I was at a small airport one time. I was sitting on a bench on the end and a stranger was on the other end. He stood up and I flipped the bench and landed on the ground. I wanted to die right then and there.

GASTRIC SLEEVE HELL HELP!
Snow replied to Jacky Chaver's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Hey Jacky sorry to hear about your horrible time you're having. I'm 6 months out and thrilled I had this surgery. The good news for you is that you don't have anything that is not curable. Depression can be managed and pneumonia can be taken care of. I'm adding you to my prayers. You grabbed the bull by the horns, hold on tight and ride. It gets so much better you will see. Take life day by day. Think good thoughts and stay strong. You can beat this!!! -

I think you all are blessed no matter what they say. People like me who have lost their Moms miss the chewing out that was only intended to protect you. My blessings to you all. To me, the world has never been the same since my mom passed. -
Has your surgeon done a leak test?

I had the same issue. I'm 6 months out! My Dr. Said I needed more protein. Dr. told me if I was drinking 2 protein drinks and still hungry to drink 3. It worked! -
Thank you Fyre for the update. Things will gradually get back to normal in time. A shout out to the Red Cross who have people that do wonderful work in times of crisis. Oh the things we take for granted in our lives. Praying you get running water soon. Take care of yourself.
-
Hi Fyre, Glad you are ok. I told you I've been there. Do me a favor and take care of your emotion from this. It was a traumatic experience yes. I've been watching your post. Maybe get a couple therapy sessions in to deal with this. I'm so sorry about the other people and wish it didn't happen. Please take care of yourself. Have a great day, it's beautiful outside.

I crushed my pills and mixed them with a very small amount of a protein shake. Yuck it was really gross but didn't last long.
