You actually need a scan to see if they are kidney stones.
-
Yes, I think you should go to ER. I've had stones as well. I know if you drink alot of water it helps the pain a little bit. Good luck

First of all you need to check with your Dr.!! It might be gas. As time goes by and you lose weight rapidly you might developer gallbladder problems. Gallstones. It happened to me but I was further post op than you. I'm hoping its just gas. Please call your Dr. They are the experts.

Is anyone having their gall bladder removed with their vsg surgery?
Snow replied to lonestarstategal's topic in Mexico & Self-Pay Weight Loss Surgery
I've heard there's a prescription people take to help prevent gallstones. I'm 10 months post op. Had to have my gallbladder removed 5 months after surgery. I would defiantly look at all of your options. I wish I would've done that. However having gallstones and not removing the gallbladder can cause problem with your pancreas if they get caught. You want to avoid that! Good luck! -

See you on the other side! You got this!!! -
Take a deep breath and try to relax. It is what it is and you may not be able to change it. I was sleeved last year in July and I'm 7 lbs away from goal. Try to look forward to the end result. This is major surgery and you will find every step of this process is for a reason. Your hard work has only begun and you will always have to work at eating what's right the rest of your life. Have fun with this I did! Good luck!

Had mine done . Dr. Called me at home to come in for another test. I was terrified. I asked why and they said the dr didn't like the results of one of my test. I went back in and the dr said that I had had a heart attack in my past. Dr cleared me for surgery. Sleeved July 11th at 217lbs I am now 7 lbs from my goal of 130. This surgery was amazing!!! Wishing you all the best!!!

I fell off the wagon.... HARD!
Snow replied to Butterflylegacy's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Wow! When I read your post I thought it was coming from me! So so alike here all the way to the gallbladder removal. Personally I don't have it together enough to make a post about it. However, I went back to my Dr. ! I had multiple cross addictions and was out of control. My Dr. Told me that if I continue what I'm doing my WLS WILL FAIL!! The words echo in my head everyday Fail fail fail! From my thinking, we only have so much time to lose the weight 6 months and then you slow to a snails pace. I'm exactly like you. My Dr. sent me back to the nutritionist and the psychologist. I strongly recommend it to you as we'll. I learned so much information I'm glad I did! The advice that helped me was the Psy said "we all have all kinds of thoughts all day long. That does NOT mean you have to act on them!" I agree about a personal trainer as well! I also started taking some Vitamins the Nut recommended. They are called juice Plus! One is garden the other is fruit. Since we cannot put all of those veggies and fruits in our stomachs this is the next best thing. Hope this helps you too! You have my blessings as we have the same struggles! -

My confession. I fell of the wagon

Hey OTR you're not alone! I wish there was a more simple and easy answer than to get back on track but. There isn't . I'm 10 months post op and for 5 months been stuck. Raspberry cappachinos from Starbucks. My doctor said if I continue my WLS will fail. I was sent back to the nutritionist and the psychologist. Mind you I was drink 4-5 a day. The things I just learned is people who drink and eat at the same time will fail. Drinking soda will cause you to fail. Psychologist gave me the best advice and I will share. He said we all have thoughts all day and night about all kinds of things. The fact is just because we have the thought doesn't mean we have to act on that thought. Hope this helps! I'm 10 pounds from goal and it feels like 10 thousand pounds. Hang in there we can do this!!! Dr told me the good thing was that we I was asked how I was doing I did not lie and say I'm fine. That makes all the difference in the world. If I could only stop all my other cross addictions I'd be really happy! Good luck to you OTR! Btw I'm a professional driver as well! -
what's the difference between something that fits and something that's tight?

am i the only big fat failure here?
Snow replied to susie77453's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I'm right here with you. I've picked up some cross addictions that are killing me. I was sleeved in July 2012 went to the doctor 2 weeks ago. I have been sent to the dietitian and to the psychologist. Haven't been to those two yet but it's this week coming up. I could have just as easily told my doctor everything is fine but that wouldn't have helped me. You are not a failure! I would strongly suggest you do go meet with your doctor and meet this head on before its out of control. My doctor told me that if I continued doing what I'm doing my WLS would FAIL. You're not as far out as me and you can do this!!! -
