How Long Off Work For An Office Job?

This is something I've been thinking about as well. Fortunately for me, I'm in a unique position in that I work in IT and as it is, I "Work from Home" about once per week. I figure after a couple days home, I can just do that until I'm well enough to go back to the office. I'm about 95% sure my boss will be okay with it, but then there's that other 5% -
