Where did you have you surgeries?
lrgandwrg replied to searching's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Dr. Michelson is my Dr. at Northwest Weight loss in Everett and my date is Jan 31st. -
I live on the Peninsula.
-
No date yet. I go for my psch eval today.
-
Do you have to go for 6 months of visits or 3? I see we have the same Doc.
-
I am scheduled to have my eval soon and I was wondering how this was? I do have a history of depression and I am concerned I would get denied. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Where Is Everyone From?

Washington the Olympic Peninsula -
I totally agree with you. But I just felt I wasn't getting anything out of therapy anymore. Maybe it was the therapist. Thank you for all your feedback. I hope this Dr. works out.

My depression is well managed. I have been on meds for 6 years. I don't see a therapists. I just check in with my PCP. I found I have nothing to talk about with the therapists anymore. If it's required I won't object. My husband thinks it's a better idea if I see an alterate one instead the one at the surgeons office since they are objective. I just want to make things easier.

Just wanted to say hello there and introduce myself. I am a mother of 2 children and work full time and have been married for 12 years. My husband is very supportive of this procedure. Right now I seem to only think about what my next meal will be or relax on my days off since I am so tired during the day. I do see the light at the end of the tunnel. I want to be very active and be able to take long bike rides with the kids. I just want to be able to keep up with the family when we are walking. But I do have lots of questions? What happens if I go through all the appointment's and then insurance denies me? Do I finance this or give up. My hopes are so high now and I would hate to fail again. Another question is how have family members reacted or co workers? Do you really not feel hungry anymore? It sounds to good to be true. How is the transition from being overweight to active and then dealing with real feelings now since I wouldn't be able to eat my feelings. Sorry for the rambling. I also have lots of anxiety now. On Friday I go to my Dr for the letter of recommendation. Has anyone's doctor ever said no?

I find it hard to not talk about it. But I guess they will find out soon enough.

How Long Off Work For An Office Job?
lrgandwrg replied to makemyownluck's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am also curious about this. I work full time for a Big Box store and will be standing for 8 hours a day. I am thinking 2 weeks and then partial days.
