I am in trouble.... I seem to be able to eat anything! I had 2 chicken Dino's that I made for the kids and even a few baked French fries!

I am 5 weeks out!!! Honestly I wonder on some days if my surgery was even done! I seem to have an iron sleeve! I have not had an issue with any food yet. Too scared to try salad but other then that it is trial and error so I try almost everything! They were steak fajitas by the way!

Went to a Mexican place tonight and shared Fajitas with my 11 year old!!!! I felt normal! I even ate half of a corn tortilla! Delish!

After hitting redial a bunch of times I got through then the girl disconnected me without letting me ask any questions!!! I Called back after redialing a bunch then on hold for 35 minutes I got through and was told the EXACT same thing I was told on Tuesday! I am about to drive to Van Nuys for answers if they still don't show me on Tuesday!!!!!

Grandmother- they show me in the system since the 1st and said 15 business days is how long it takes..... So frustrated!!!!!! I need my money!

Kaiser sent mine in Sept 6th the day of surgery. They admitted today that they started processing it on the 1st but haven't completed it yet! WHAT THE HECK? So ridiculous!!! She laughed when I told her today I am already back at work! They feel bad too. At least some of them do. Getting someone in the phone is hard enough!

I called today and they said they have my paperwork and that all Should be approved by Friday... And to call back them. We shall see!

I get short term disability but it is only above what they estimate state to give me.... I am still not in the Ca disability system! Tomorrow will be 5 weeks! Did you check with Kaiser? What did disability say? I am getting really frustrated!!!!!!! My check was 995 short today expecting the disability to come through!!!!!

You tried salad!!!???? Bizarre but I am craving it!

I am also not in the disability system I call everyday too!!!! Thank GOD for short term disability through my job. At least I am not the only one waiting on CA disability!!!! Makes me feel a little bit better! Kaiser sent my paperwork on the 6th and I am still waiting!

4 weeks TODAY!!!! down 30.5!!! I go back to work on Monday and can't wait!!! I have been ready since day 5! I have had zero complications and seem to have an iron sleeve! Eating almost everything. I am so sorry to those of you having so many issues. It will work for you, time will heal you. Now to try on those work clothes.....

My doctor took me out for 4 weeks but I could have gone back way earlier. I go back Monday and look forward to it!

I discovered freeze dried fruit and Passion fruit Tazo (caffeine free) tea today!!!! HEAVEN!

Well today marks 3 weeks post op and we went to Disneyland!! Very hard on the food front! 2 hints that worked... BENGAL BBQ and the kids Meal Power Pack came with string cheese and a yogurt! Bonus!!!

Actually had shredded chicken tonight....getting more tempted with sweets though...

I was given 4 weeks off.... I was bored by day 4!!! I feel totally guilty about being home but enjoy the naps when I can fit it in. I am glad to be home for the changing of food phases though! I have not gotten sick yet and I am on soft foods. I am sure I push the envelope with some of my meals I am just being very careful to chew everything really well. Tonight I made spaghetti for my family and was able to take about a 1/4 cup of meat sauce and put some cheese on it. I was nervous but made or through ok. I am having a hard time with water though... I am soooo thirsty when I eat!!! I was sleeved on the 6th and have lost 25 pounds since surgery!!! I still can't believe that we are able to function on less then 400 calories a day!!!!!

I do Universal Horror Nights last night in Hollywood and it was Awesome! I did have major HEAD HUNGER though! 2 weeks out makes it hard as there was NOTHING in the park I could eat, not a single thing. Disneyland will have better options and they allow you to bring in your own food:)

I was sleeved Sept 6th and Kaiser allows soft foods to start on day 14. I am down 24 since surgery, feeling Awesome and looking forward to seeing my surgeon today for a post op. Every Doctor is different.

I just had a little bit of crab ceviche made mild with thinly sliced cucumbers and lime juice..... Ate about 40 minutes ago and seem to be ok.....

Does anyone take Xanax for the occasional Anxiety Attack??? Wondering of it is ok (gonna check with the Doc at my appointment) now? I was told years ago the in extreme situations chew it. I wonder...

That's what I was hoping to hear. 1/2 a pill is so small I can swallow it I am sure! I will confirm with my Doc! Thanks so much!!!

Tomorrow is my 2 week!!! I am down 22 pounds. My incisions are itchy and I am in need of CHEWING something!!! I feel FANTASTIC!! I am actually heading to Universal Horror nights on Friday I am going to attempt egg beaters tomorrow as its day 14 and I can begin soft foods... I am sick of shakes and floating from drinking so much Crystal Lite! What was or is your plan for your first soft food?

We are actually going to Disneyland in the next week or so.... I will bee 3 weeks post op. I feel fabulous however I am very concerned on the eating situation!
