OMG Carb Free (!) Pasta (Chicken)

I used a dollar store clear 'condiment' bottle. Anything with a pointy top. If you use the dollar store one, you've got to hold the cap on tight or it'll pop up. Since then I've gotten a better quality one at Walmart, same aisle as the utensils. Cost 4 bucks there

OMG Carb Free (!) Pasta (Chicken)

The noodles were really easy! Ignore the rest of the recipe, just do the noodles. Mix everything in a food processor and squirt the chicken into boiling Water, that's it!

OMG Carb Free (!) Pasta (Chicken)

Alright people, this turned out great! I can imagine the chicken noodles would be very easy to eat on the puree stage too, they are very soft and moist. It turned out great and was real easy. Only thing I recommend is getting a good bottle to squeeze it from, because the one I had kept popping open when I was squeezing it into the pot. Also, it was messy putting it in the bottle, so scoop it into a zip lock, then cut the corner and squeeze into the bottle

Any October sleevers?

I'm worried about that too, but my doc allows me one small meal a day on the preop, so that's a plus. I work at a food court, so it'll be hard on my will power not to cheat

Any October sleevers?

You're from the future??? Cool!
11. I got my first period when I was 12, and it was around that time that I started gaining weight. I gained enough weight to worry my doctor, and I was tested for thyroid and everything else under the sun when I was 13/14. They only found a 'slight' thyroid issue, and it wasn't enough to medicate. I remember being 195 in high school(still only 5'3" ) . In the mandatory weight class we had to take, I was the only one paired with a boy, because there were no girls close to my weight. I'm 27 now, 4 years from a 'real' diagnosis of Graves disease and finally regulated on synthroid. I've been overweight since puberty, so I have no idea what I'll look like after my October 23rd surgery. I can't wait to find out!

Birth Control

Because of problems with my hyperplasia, my doctor was trying to get my period under control after my blood transfusion. She had me take 4 bc pills a day, for 2 weeks straight and I never got sick. You'll be fine!

Curiosity on your appearance

My weight gain started with puberty, and I remember weighing exactly 200 in weight class in my senior year of high school. I'm now a couple pounds below 300 at 26 yrs old (hopefully I never see that 3!) so I have no idea at all what I'll look like after surgery.

Dr Hoehn in KS

I was supposed to get my surgery with Dr. Hoehn. After Aetna denied me for a small clerical error, my coordinator never returned my 2 dozen phone calls or dozen emails I sent her to ask how to fix it and resubmit. I spent a lot of money out of pocket for the egd and psych eval and all of that, and it really sucked to not get my surgery from them. I had to restart my 3 month nutrition plan with my new surgeon as well, because I could not get the info faxed over from my coordinator
