I've just been trying to eat the right foods, I admit I've cheated here & there , mostly on Thanksgiving & Christmas , but now I'm back on track. I started the gym 6 weeks after surgery, just doing cardio. It's not easy getting use to eating this way, but your pretty much forced to , your stomach will let you know , trust me. Just remember , No Sugar, No Greasy Foods, No Carbonated Drinks. I've had stalls for 2 wks , which sucked , but I'm breaking that now, starting my purée stage all over again , just for a week . I am 38 yrs old. You will succeed in your weight loss, believe me, I get discouraged too when I see other pics of those who lost more than me, in the same amount of time. But we all lose at different times. Don't give up, it will happen Keep me posted

I'm sure your results will be great, just think positive . Keep me posted. Please read all you can on here for pre-op & post op, all the info is so helpful.

Thanks for the compliment . I've lost 54 lbs so far. Day of surgery - 209 lbs - 9/26/12 , today I weigh 155 . My goal is 120. Almost there & it feels so good , best I've felt since my 20's , before I had kids , then my body left, it's coming back, lol.

Looking great, I've reached that point too & it feels awesome, congrats !!

It's been just a little over 3 weeks since my surgery , would it be ok to get on roller coasters Just the small ones not the one that spin or go upside down. It's my daughters bday & taking her to Knotts Berry Farm.

LusciousGold26- I never asked the dr . I went on them & was fine. I didn't get on any big crazy coasters , just small coasters . I went to Knotts Berry Farms, they don't have too many big ones.

When is it ok to have a drink? I'm 10 wks out. I know every dr has their own opinions . What do you think? How have you done, if you've had it?

You look fabulous . How long did it take after the sleeve. I've lost 43 lbs so for , it's been 10 wks. I'm so excited to get to thin, can't wait!! You look great!!

I know exactly how you feel , I had my surgery back in Sept, 3 hrs away from home & no one went with me, I was all alone too. I was pretty down ,myself , at first , but after the surgery was over , I didn't care. I was too worn out to even realize that no one was there. In a way it was nice not having to deal with anyone fussing over me ,besides the nurses. I then realized I needed that time alone to heal & concentrate on me. I will keep you in my prayers for a speedy recovery & like someone else said, your not alone , God is with you

Does any one know how many incisions are made? Just curious. I had my gallbladder removed last yr & have those lovely scars. Sent from my iPhone using VST

Faith - all that finally stopped , I think it was lack of nutrition . Hope it stops for you soon

Does anyone eat sugar free candy? Just curious , if the sugar alcohol in the candy counts as grams of sugar? Not sure if I should try it or not? What do you think?
