I've had a crazy time with my friends!! I've got one overweight friend who told all our other friends that I was getting it done and proceeded to tell me how jealous she was when drunk one night... I've got another who when I told her ranted at me for not trusting her sooner with my personal info lol and how I've changed since having it done...then proceeded to 'out' me to another friend who already knew...along with how stupid I am for doing it (yeah right) Mot females i tell, now have the urge to constantly remind me how hard it is for them to lose weight and eat right and exercise - yeah ppl I get it! Oh and I barely tell anyone only ppl who I think I can trust...well u soon find out who ur real friends are!!

Lol lie the BFB read!! I work in business and as a female I'm finding the world a different place 35kg down...although the flu hit me hard last week!! One work colleague who can't believe my weight loss chastised me on my tiny portions and lack if food saying that's why I was so sick, u know what lady it may be but butt out of my life coz I love it!!! Hahaha chicken soup still went down a treat :-)

I'm on the mini pill so I don't usually get mine every month but it's been forever this time!! Had a really light period after nothing since before surgery which was in October!!

I'm sitting right on 92kg - 202 pounds - can't wait to get under 200 pounds and 90 kg!!! Starting weight 123kg Sleeved 15/10/12 Height 5ft8 or 173cm Sitting at a size 16, forgot how terrible the sizing is in Australia!! Some stores I can't zip up my size 16, others the 14 fits just fine...terrible :/ but fun! no more size 24's for me!!!

Ok ok I had to post this to see if anyone else does the same thing!! Went out for lunch with the team at work today. We went to a pizza place that had a $10 8inch pizza deal...the 12inch pizzas were like up to $15 and the large around $22... Me with my new sleeve assumed everyone would go with the $10 deal and I ordered an entree for myself of chorizo as a treat lol Well EVERYONE ordered the large size pizza - and I'm talking its MASSIVE like bigger than a Pizza Hut pizza and I thought how I would've done the same once and now I'd get through maybe one slice!!! It is soooo strange to watch ppl eat so much food and sitting there waiting for them all to finish after I'd eaten my tiny bit of Protein and feeling so full lol it was so strange... Anyway I can't help but think that everyone eats way too much lol like I never thought that a person could survive on what I eat now but I realise that you can!! I love my sleeve but I'm forgetting what it's like to eat so much and I just look at everyone wondering why aren't they sick lol

That explains my crazy dry skin, I've been struggling so much with warer!

I just had a friend raving at me about trust and how hurt she is I didn't tell her! I don't understand why she's so angry it just pissed me off :-(

if you suffer from depression or anxiety I think that this massive change can be very difficult. I personally have struggled and noticed the classic signs such as extreme tiredness, especially in the mornings, and sleeping so so much - the lack of food doesn't help lol Best to get some help and meds if you need them, I'm finding the more active I am the better I feel :-)

I have days where I feel like I've reinflated to where I started which is such a bizarre feeling lol like somehow overnight I gained back all the weight haha

I keep looking at mine willing it to stick out more hahaha

I'm 5ft8 (173cm) and my dr actually set my goal higher than I expected at 80kg where id like to get to at least 70kg (154 pounds) I guess I'm jut going to see when I'm happy with the size I am :-)

Friend of a friend of mine had the surgery and no issues with either not that I'm saying illegal drugs should ever be taken but no issues from what she told me. Drugs are bad mmmkay... And I don't want any negative posts after this I've got two brothers and a sister all who had very bad drug addiction problems so I'm not going near the stuff. But if ur gonna take it ur gonna take it and my friend did not experience any additional complications or issues other than you'd normally get from taking drugs mixed in someone's bathtub and cut with flyspray (jks but seriously it could be).

I went to a Zumba class tonight it was fun! Lol

Surgeon was Dr Craig Taylor, all going well, sitting at 97kg today :-)

Starting weight 123kg, Sleeved 15/10/12, current weight 99kg :-) Goal weight 70-75kg (I'm 173cm tall) Halfway there! So happy to be under 100kg I'm double digits woohoo!! Plus can fit into 'normal' sized clothes shopping at JayJays, SES for cheap clothes to wear now! Starting size 22-24, current size 16 (except fitted pants but I've always struggled with my hips)

Dr Taylor was great, I was sleeved at the Mater hospital by Dr Taylor and it really was fantastic (other than the pain of course) I would recommend Dr Taylor to anyone and the mater nurses and facilities were the best hospital services you could ask for

I'm sooo tired atm 6 weeks out, really busy at work and doing my best to eat, drink and take my vitamins...it's 8pm now and I'm lying down!

U r 170cm and 65-67kg?? I would think that is considered normal healthy weight with a bmi of 23.2? U r quite tall, what weight were u trying to drop to?
