    Any New Jersey Gastric Sleevers?

I was sleeved on 8/15 by Dr Balsama (or as my aunt calls him Dr. Cutie Pie) at Kennedy Hospital. He was a wonderful surgeon.

Anyone With Dreds Have Hair Loss?

I too have locs, and this subject has worried me as well. I hope that having natural hair will protect me from losing my hair since I have been growing these for the past two years. Thanks for the post.

    4 Week Post Op

Today is officially my four week post op day, I am down to 252 pounds and I can fit pants that I haven't worn in years. I haven't had the time to really focus on myself, a friend was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor so I've been focused on his well being and not on my own. I am so happy that I have the sleeve and not trying to do all of this on my own. Honestly, I would have cheated and gained 5-10 pounds with the stress of the situation. Honestly having the sleeve has been the best decision ever!!!

    August Sleevers..what Is The Progress

I was sleeved on 8/15 my starting weight was 275 and I'm down to 256. I am eating mostly soup, protein shakes and 2 nights ago I added fish. I find that I can only eat 1-2 ounces of fish at a time. My energy level is ok, I can walk for 30 minutes at a time. I am loving my sleeve and I feel this was the best decision I've ever made
