Has anyone come across their friends treating them different after losing weight. I have four close friends that haven't said a word to me regarding my weight loss. Sometimes it just means more hearing it from your close friends.

I have lost 73 lbs so far. My family and co-workers always tell me I look great. I went from an 18 to a size 8. My friends were all for me to get the surgery. One friend is probably 400lbs if not more, my other friend is at least 300 lbs. I just don't get it.

Why can't people be happy for us for getting healthy. So sorry to hear your sister is barely talking to you. Yes, I guess it is insecurities.

I was sleeved July 23rd and down 73 lbs. I hit a plateau for almost 8 wks. Now I am losing again.

Congrats. That is a huge accomplishment. I too am off all my meds. I had hypertension, two different meds to control it and it was It was still elevated. My Mom had a major stroke when I was 21. I have a wonderful NSV. I work for my Surgeon. Well, they are here every other week and today's the first day I have seen any of the team ( Doc, Nutritionist and Psych) since before Christmas. I love our Nut, she is wonderful. She told me I am so tiny and that I don't look like I need to lose anymore weight. I have been told by a couple of people at work, but you never know if they are just being nice. I still can't see a huge difference myself. Anyone else have this problem? I am 5 1/5 months out. I have lost 68 lbs. I can eat anything. I eat about a cup at a time. My goal is to lose about another 20 more. Sent from my iPhone using VST

I do have to admit, I haven't worked out like I did at the beginning. I was outside walking for a couple of hours each night until winter hit. But I have started some aerobic DVD's and I lost 4 lbs in a week. My Water and Protein are good. I even bought beneprotein and sprinkle it on my food. It does get frustrating, when you see so many losing so much faster. I know everyone is different. So I have to keep reminding myself of that. Sent from my iPhone using VST

I wish I would have done it sooner also. I also eat what I want but in much smaller portions. I do find that I can careless where we go when we go out to dinner. Takes the choice of picking a place for dinner off of me ????. Sent from my iPhone using VST
