I will be getting my band from Dr. Fielding.. i see him next on 7/3 and should get my date then.. Can't wait...

Hey Bandi, If i may ask, who is your INS and how long did you have to work with NYU to get approved? I'm still not sure if I will have Dr. Ren or Dr. Fielding....

I'm new here. I posted two or three times and thought i would say hi. I'm in the process of getting a lapband. I'm going with NYU here in NY. I went to the info meeting and have been cleared by Psyc. I have also went for a stress test and my doctor has given me records for the last 5 years that he has been working with me. So i think i have the ball rolling. I have a BMI of about 54 and I have 3 slipped disk in the neck. I had my ACL replaced a few years back and would like nothing more then to play 18 holes of golf.. Just wanted to say hi and seeing all the people here i'm sure will help me leading up to and after i get the band.

I wish everyone good luck. I also have Aetna but i have POS II My paper work goes to them on the 7th. I'm going to NYU. I blew my knee out and had to have my ACL replaced 3 years ago. I hope i get approved but after reading this i'm starting to worry.
