Bless your heart ProudGrammy! We don't have any in the Twin Cities but expect some tonight and tomorrow. I do have a snow removal service, but I think with my weight loss I'll be able to manage next year.

I had Type 2 diabetes for about 8 years. VSG on 9.25.12 - my blood sugar improved immediately - I was almost immediately off one of my meds glucophage, and as of last weekend I am off of the last one - metformin, as well as my high blood pressure medicine. So for me about 4.5 months. I'm very happy and feeling awesome about my improved health. Good luck to your father!

Went to the doctor today, my blood pressure was very low, my A1C was 5.5. So my primary care doctor agreed that I can go off both of them! -

Of course they would - you look gorgeous! -
I had recently posted a recipe for chicken salad, with greek yogurt and it is really delicious - I agree, it is a good substitute!
-
It sounds so good - chips are my slider food so I have completely stayed away from them. Greek yogurt is a great replacement for sour cream, I recently used that in chicken salad and it was really delicious!
-
I used to make this pre-sleeve and it is really delicious. I haven't made it since, but it might be in the area of what you are looking for . I calculated the ingredients in MFP - though it is lower in calories and fat, it is high on carbs, 60 total carbs with 30 per serving. That's quite a bit. The carbs come from the banana and the watermelon almost equally so it would seem a sorbet would be maybe less (with no banana) but still on the high end of carbs. Watermelon Frosty (Serves 2) 2 1/4 cups frozen watermelon cubes 1/2+ cup Water Sweetener 1 large lemon, squeezed (lime juice also works very well!) 1 frozen banana Blend Pour. Garnish with frozen watermelon/rind slices. Serve! Enjoy. Source: http://kblog.lunchbo...-margarita.html
