Sure he waits for them to bite the hook. If they do he reels them in hook line and sinker then throws them back when finished with them. Some young women may not be stable enough to handle this. Could lead to something very destructive. Even more so then the post from last night. I hope these women can find some peace and deal with what has happened. We don't know their mind set or what their actual experience has been. I hope he is dealt with.

Big difference in complimenting patients and sleeping with them while they are under his care.

I also would like to know what happened to that thread also.I think every woman that may be going down to Mexico and possibly using Dr. Garcia should be aware. Everyone should be held accountable: Dr Garcia and his coordinators, for making sure this doesn't continue. And this forum for protecting us the members. They definitely should not be participating in a cover up. DR and I use that term loosely DR. LUNA is immoral and unethical man an he should not be allowed to victimize vulnerable women. Patients that are under his care. If our forum admins owner whatever participate in this cover up they plainly are not out for us their members and I will no longer participate here

Beware! woman traveling to TJ
SuNMooNStaRS816 replied to blindsided's topic in Mexico & Self-Pay Weight Loss Surgery
My thing is if it happened and I am not saying it didn't. (Forgive my earlier post, i can be cynical) No one knows but you and that person. If you feel wronged or victimized do something about it. For your own sake. And it's not right for doctors to prey on there patients. If I found out any of the dr's I work for did this I would be so angry. We are supposed to be patient advocates. Take care of ppl not prey on them when they are at their most vulnerable. If you work for some company trying to ruin one of these doctors careers then I hope God, karma or whatever you believe in takes care of you. Just really think about this and do what's right. I hope you find peace. -

Long term PPI usage
SuNMooNStaRS816 replied to Fiddleman's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Just something to think about if you have to stay on a PPI long term. They aren't really meant to be taken as they now prescribe them. Initially they were always prescribed in 14 courses. Now due to the diet of Americans dr's now prescribe them long term and this is one of the disadvantages. I too take a high dose PPI now pre op and I am sure I will post op. I take 40mg protonix. And it works for now. But my body always seems to get used to it and I either have to increase or change PPI's I recently had some issue with chronic fatigue and low an behold it was low magnesium. -
Long term PPI usage
SuNMooNStaRS816 replied to Fiddleman's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
With that kinda PPI use make sure your labs are drawn regular in particular serum magnesium levels. You may need a magnesium supplement. Below is a warning for PPI's that the FDA put out on long term PPI usage. http://www.fda.gov/Safety/MedWatch/SafetyInformation/SafetyAlertsforHumanMedicalProducts/ucm245275.htm Signs and symptoms of low magnesium are often present but concealed by an inability to distinguish their signs from other disease states. When a magnesium deficiency develops, the first noticeable signs often include nausea, vomiting and loss of appetite. Other early signs of a low magnesium level include fatigue, difficulty sleeping, mental confusion, memory trouble, irritability and difficulty learning or concentrating. Migraine headaches and depression. Another noticeable sign of a magnesium deficiency is muscle spasms or contractions. Progressing to neurological symptoms and cardiac symptoms. Low magnesium is a medical condition but can be treated. We have to be armed with the knowledge to facilitate our own care. -
