I was sleeved on 9/12 & I feel the same way but that's normal, we did just have major surgery & our bodies are having to adjust... I'm taking pain pills, laying down & then getting up & walking... I had surgery on Wed & got home from te hospital last night - I have steps to go by that I got from this forum & I had the nutritionist look @ it & she said it looked great & I could stick by it... It says for day 3-14 start chewables Multivitamin, I chose Woman's 1 a day chewable, just took a min ago... But again whatever your Dr said for you to go by... I was just sleeves on 9/12, I lost about 15-18lbs pre-op & will go by the Dr exactly as far as doin liquids for another 2 weeks then go for the smushed food & then @ about 5 weeks eat regular food whole - everyone's body is different so just stick to the plan & I'm sure the weight will continue to come off... Although I can drink w/ no problems not sure anyone can get down that many oz when we 1st get home, my Dr said work up to that... They took pics for me to bring & my liver also was in very good shape but he did repair a hiatal hernia that I had... Well rest well - ik I plan to once I can find a comfortable position... Well I'm finally home but very sore on my left side, no nausea, other then the pain of the incisions, I can drink liquid w/ no problem & broth taste like heavan right about now... Hope everyone else is doing well Sent from my iPhone using VST

Funny you asked, I just came back from walking the halls... My side is hurting pretty bad & I should be goin home tomorrow... Over all I'm good but my side & the incisions on left sides & the hernia probably has something to do w/ it... Sent from my iPhone using VST

Surgery went well, he did have to repair a hiatal hernia so my side is having extra sharp pains along w/ the sore incisions so in stay'n an extra night but no fever, no nausea or anything like that... & Dr Veninga did a great job - did leak test earlier & no leaking which was great... That's great, glad you can tolerate all foods but like the above said just stick the plan - of course were all goin to have days where we cheat & have pizza or etc but you can't eat like that everyday... Hope you continue to do well... Sent from my iPhone using VST

Hey, glad to hear all is well, I've had no nausea but my side is killing & of course my incisions are very sore... I did my leak test like an hour ago or so & all was well... Jeepermom - good luck & God bless you - once the as the anestiseologist called it my margaritas, all I remember is leaving the pre-op room & waking up in my private room a few floors up.. Throat is a bit sore from them sticking the tubes down & etc but it feels a lil better then yesterday ... Let us know how everything went Sent from my iPhone using VST

Glad to hear all went well for you, my surgery went ok for me as well although the incisions are very painful especially on my left side - I also had a hiated hernia that Dr Veninga had to repair... I've had no nausea though so thank God for that ... They just gave me pain meds for the stomach pains so it's making me very sleepy but judged to give you all an update....
