I have really short hair - and love it. If/when the loss happens, I'll use a bit more product if I need to. A comb over

I confess that it really ticks me off that I have to count and track everything I put in my mouth' date=' thats what I hatred about dieting before surgery
[/quote']
So don't...
I don't. It would drive me insane, and I have no intention of (hopefully) living another 50 years and having to count everything that goes in my mouth.

My Gp has just put me on a 6 week course of B12 shots to help me recover from glandular fever. I'm really tired all the time' date=' my legs and hips ache, I'm covered in bruises and my gums and nose bleed profusely. Some mornings I wake up and check my neck to make sure my throat hasn't been cut in the night, my pillow has that much blood on it. I have had the same plight as you, now finally going on b12 injections will hopefully help both of us. I have my 2nd one tomorrow. Good luck on Friday.[/quote']That's really interesting, because my nose has begun to bleed the last couple of days. Not much, but still unusual. I might need to get some bloods done now

I take liquid vitamins. I just couldn't stomach the tablets. Quite happy - it's easy to take and tastes good

That looks great. Those scars will fade nicely

31 and
Never worn a 2 piece bathing suit (may need some plastics for that. 3 kids is horrendous on the skin)
Never appreciated just how good I looked in my late teens/early twenties
Never had the confidence to wear what I liked without worrying what everyone else thought. I'm over the worrying, now just need to fit into the clothes I like
Never been parasailing
I was going to say- never had the strength to do what is best for ME (vs everyone else). But I had my sleeve despite my husband ......so made a start on this one

Happy 2 Month Surgiversary everyone! I'm down 49 pounds as of this am and took my 2 month pics. So glad I did this - looking forward to the next few months of losing!!!Pics are from left to right - pre op' date=' 1 month post op and 2 month post op[/quote']
Well done! You're looking great
I'm down 51lbs, unfortunately I haven't taken any photos duh
But I tried on my pre-op jeans this morning....I can't believe how huge they are. Not regretting this one bit

It took me about a week to be able to take 32oz, at 2 weeks out I was managing 64oz. At 8 weeks I get 64oz plus some. You WILL get there

Not weird' date=' just different. I do that, too.[/quote']
It's definitely an acquired taste

Yes, after reading all the "you must not ever use NSAIDS" comments on here I specifically asked my surgeon about it. He said it's fine as long as it's not long term (over a week or so), that they could cause irritation to the stomach.

I just like to soak them in Water for several hours, add a splash of flavour, and drink.
Apparently, according to several members of my family, that just makes me plain weird

But I don't know' date=' maybe that's how you treat one another in the outback.[/quote']
Say what? That sounds a bit snarky and condescending to me.....

I'm a sugar addict too and the only way I can deal with it is to completely avoid the evil stuff. I don't even use artificial sweeteners. But I have been very lucky that after my sleeve, I found it is just too sweet. So sweet just the smell really turns me off. So I'm not going back there because I'm afraid one bite of a sugary processed snack will have me wanting more. I try to avoid processed/refined foods altogether.

I watched this a while back and I've been juicing ever since. I do the same as he did. I find it is particularly good if I'm due to eat but really don't want to. The juice fills me up. I don't know how to add it to myfitnesspal as I don't track.

I can't either. It's quite strange

At this early on' date=' should you be eating chunky soup(even though pureed)? I was still on liquids at this point. If not advised by your doctor it is not wise to experiment with food as your stomach has just gone through major trauma and is desensitized. You could be causing yourself some harm. Be careful.[/quote']
I was on purée day 4 (under surgeons advice).

I don't know.... I don't see why not.
This thread was started by me - and I was very happy with Dr Greenslade.

Telling you that "you'll be sorry" is a silly statement. She can't possibly know how you will feel after surgery. After researching, if this is what you really want to do for yourself, go for it.
I can tell you that I have not been "sorry" once since my surgery.

I had my GP snip mine off. It healed up well after that........then I had another poke out just above the scar. After a good soak in the bath it came out completely.
Lighten up a little...

I know from past experience, if I deny myself, I will binge big time and go completely off the rails. I don't view the sleeve as a diet, but I make conscious decisions about what goes into my mouth.....and for the first time in my life I'm happy to do that.
If someone chooses to eat foods which I would choose not to eat - that's not my business. If someone asks for thoughts or advice I will say if I think its a good idea (or not), but I won't berate them. I'm not perfect.
