ozeedonkee replied to Lhollingsworth's topic in The Gals' Room
2 weeks out and I'm still letting em rip. Not smelly though. I've never farted so much in my life! Have Small burps when I eat which I don't think anyone would notice. -
Nup. You broke up for a reason. Remember that and leave him where he belongs - in your past.

Starting To Really Freak Out.
ozeedonkee replied to ShrinkyDinkMe22's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
It would be strange to NOT be nervous! Voluntarily removing most of an organ is a big deal. I was nervous, it was all I thought about for months before. It consumed me. Then I drove myself to the hospital and found I was strangely calm. I was completely at ease with my decision. Recovery sucked, but a couple of shitty days is a drop in the ocean for a healthier 50 or so years. It took one week for me to feel a bit more normal, and each day gets better! I'm dropping weight, in the next few days I'll start exercising. I sleep better and wake refreshed - and that's only 2 weeks out. VSG is a big deal - but so far it's paying off I feel so much better. Hang in there -

Lol I discovered that my pockets had enough room to actually put things in. All this time I thought they were for decoration -
I also like plain water. I cannot tolerate "sweet."

Also, when you start pureed fish or mashed eggs, make them as moist as possible. I add a little mayo or greek yogurt. Helps a lot -

Any November 14Th Sleevers?

Hi everyone just wondering if anyone else is still getting quite sharp shoulder pain? A couple of days ago I woke up and it was completely gone. The next day BAM! It's back -
Oops - have you been sleeved yet?
-
Pre-sleeve I could eat ridiculous amounts of foods (pre-menstrual). In a week or so I'll be taking notice of how I feel. But there's no way we can eat what we used to, so a protein snack will probably satisfy. And I expect that now I have not been eating sugary/sweet foods, stable blood sugar levels will help.

Tonight I pureed some roast beef and moistened with tomato sauce. It was good I also added a bit of corn dip to an egg and mashed it. Trying to mix it up a bit and not get bored. But I am loving plain cottage cheese.... Straaange

Cellulitis is an infection in the layers under the skin. It will start looking red and inflamed, and if you feel around the area, you can feel a hardness under the skin. Sometimes it will pus - might look like a tiny pin prick white head, but has a surprising amount of pus under it. Or sometimes the skin will look angry and pitted. -
