You don't have a marriage or kids, take the leap and concentrate on yourself.

Yup. Me too But I've gone off food, so I'm probably not eating enough. I really have to step it up a bit -
Can't stomach yucky things anymore?
ozeedonkee replied to mezanne1401's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Yes. My daughter vommited several nights ago. It almost made me spew. That's never happened before. Coincidence? I don't know. -

Depo shot after the sleeve
ozeedonkee replied to syrup79's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm absolutely sure Depo causes fertility issues. I'd stay right away from the stuff -
And even if the scale doesn't move, you might feel clothes getting looser. One week the scale barely moved, but I was able to fit into jeans that days earlier I couldn't.

Question about getting in your fluids.
ozeedonkee replied to Tesla1979's topic in Post-op Diets and Questions
I have to sip all day, otherwise I feel dehydrated. There's an awful lot of water to get in if you can't. And you've also got the problem not eating and drinking at the same time which will be difficult if you have short breaks at work. Is there somewhere you can leave a drink bottle and try to get back to it fairly frequently? -
That's what I did. They pack a big bang

My husband is an ass
ozeedonkee replied to Rileysmama's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Perhaps, because getting hungry at the mall was never an issue before, it just didn't occur to him that you would find it to be insensitive this time. I realise it p'd you off, but I think you should give him a break. It would be nice if our families jumped on our bandwagon, but it's not realistic. -

Any November 14Th Sleevers?
ozeedonkee replied to veronica84's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I had 4 days with no scale movement, but it also coincided with my period, so it could have been that too. But this morning I had dropped 0.5kg. But I've also found I have to force myself to eat the last couple of days. Nothing appeals and I'd rather eat nothing. Very peculiar but I stick to my routine and eat every few hours anyway -

First thing I do on waking is have a glass of water, then 30 minutes later have breakfast. If I don't do this I feel awful. -
Family, Kids, Vsg, And Hospitals
ozeedonkee replied to JustSayMoe's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I was way to out of it day of surgery to even notice if anyone was there, day 2 I slept and loved it (don't get a lot of sleep at home), day 3 husband and kids came to visit. That was nice and even though they're good kids, they got bored quickly. I was happy to be by myself for a few days. I could concentrate on ME. Get someone in to help. It will at least give you and your wife some peace of mind knowing the kids are safe and your wife can come and go from hospital as she pleases. -
That's a whole different perspective from your original post - love it! Good for you

I use a camelbak drink bottle and really like that. I have more issues with air when I drink from a glass
-
I didn't. But they're really not a big deal. It's just an uncomfortable feeling when it's removed
-
It depends what I'm eating - something like cottage cheese or egg only takes 15 minutes, meat can take 30 minutes.
