Is Sleeve Success Possible Without Exercise?
ozeedonkee replied to DanaInNewOrleans's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
On my visit to surgeon I was chatting to a lady in a wheel chair. She told me the sleeve was absolutely the best thing she ever did. I didn't get the chance to talk in depth with her - but it must be possible! She looked really great. Can you do any light weights/resistance? Get In the pool? -

How Did You Know Surgery Was The Right Choice?
ozeedonkee replied to mkb805's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I briefly mentioned VSG to one of my sisters. I got a very negative response. I have chosen that I won't be sharing my decision to have a VSG until AFTER it's done. I know my family love me - but I've made the decision. I believe it's an informed decision, and it's not up for discussion. It's normal that they would be concerned for you. But ultimately, only you can decide what is best for you. -
When is it a food addiction, and when is it just overeating?

Maybe he's scared. You've taken a big step. You're going to lose weight. You're going to start feeling better about yourself. You're going to have more confidence. And that scares the crap out of him! It sounds (from what you say) that he needs you to be dependent on him, and now that things may be changing, he just can't deal with it. If that's the case, you're better off without him. Has he sabotaged your weight loss efforts before??

No - he's not! He's very dry. But I think I got a smile during the consult I liked him - he's very direct without being condescending. It's reassuring that you felt he was professional. No chocolate??? Whoa that's tough
