I need help
Deniselk replied to deesleevednowbypassed's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
Stevehud, thank you for your reply I read this yesterday and immediately RED flags went up. This may be a legitimate request but it smells like a scam for free money. I apologize if I am wrong -

I was sleeved in June 2011 I weighed 246 and got down to 163. I am now at 193! I am in a panic ... I can't go back. I begin every day in my pre surgery mode...today I will stay on track. I just do't know if I know what on track is. You know the saying pride.toeth before the fall....well part of me is too proud and part to ashamed to go back to the bari office and admitted failure. If you are willing to guide me or tell me where to find the tools to reboot I would be very thankful.

Good morning! I am looking for help and suggestions. I was sleeved in June 1012. I initially lost 60 lbs down from 250 lbs. The last several months have been tough. I stopped losing and went to see the weight loss center to find out why. they suggested that i up my calories to 1200, keep my Protein up and again suggested that I need to begin exercising more. I was never big on exercise! Well i've increased my calories, and joined a gym go faithfully 3 or 4 days a week, usually 3…and I am gaining weight! I am up 30 lbs and hating it. I am in panic mode. And of course the more i think about it the more i want to eat, just like the old days. Any advise. I'm even feeling too down to go back to the weight loss center as I feel like a failure. Please help!

What To Count? Calories, Carbs? What Is Most Effective?\
Deniselk replied to browneyes72's topic in Post-op Diets and Questions
I was told to eat 60 g of Protein a day and drink about 64 oz of liquids. I strictly limit carbs, only having a slice of toast or a few crackers once or twice a week. On the soft diet I ate, scrambled or soft boiled eggs, tuna, cottage cheese, yogurt, oatmeal, which has surprisingly protein. Also, refried Beans and chili, Wendy's chili is good and you can get a small container for about $1.50 and it's good for about 3 meals! Good luck. -
I take prilosec 2 x's a day. This does not feel like acid, I've been taking prilosec for years and know acid or acid reflux, unless this is a new version.

Hi...I am new here and so I first will apologize if this has already been discussed. I had my sleeve done on 26 June 2012. For the past 2 weeks or so, I have a gnawing feeling in my stomach. Not really painful, almost makes me feel in the back of my throat like I could throw up. I'm eating about 1/4 C of Protein at each meal. I also have 1 Protein shake a day. Try to keep my protein to 60g a day. Have Water with me all the time. It has been suggested that maybe I'm not drinking enough, however, if I drink too much at a time, then I feel worse. I'm open to any suggestions. Thanks for listening.
