Hmm My nutritionist seems to be a little different than yalls. I did my liquid diet for about 4 days and was starving. I tried a tiny bite of cheese grits and realized I was able to hold then down without a problem. I called my nutritionist to ask if it was okay and she said she was suprised I was able to hold it down this soon! She said all that meant was I must not have haf the stomach swelling that most have. Luckily I havent had any reflux,abdominal pain, or negative experiences! My right side is a little sore from my incision that's still a little bruised but nothing else! My nutritionist suggested I make some chicken and veggie soup and let it cook for a very long time so the chicken is tender and put some in a blender and try that! She also suggested I go ahead and move onto pureed foods and then soft when I can.
