I was banded in Sept 16, 2006 at 225# - self pay 14K, 9cm, 4ml band. My tubing broke and was repaired and low profile port put in Nov 2009- - self paid 8K. Sept 2012 the tubing repair site is leaking and I have no restriction- 150#. I have come to far , paid too much money and Im NOT going back to fat. I am converting to sleeve Sept 6, 2012- self pay- 13K. My port has been uncomfortable since day one- -its on my left lower rib cage. I didnt fail - - the band failed me !! Mechanical failure twice. [b]I am Investing in ME !!![/b]
