If you don't mind me asking, where do you get those? Are the Blissful pre-made? Blissful Wellness is on line..Doctor Oz endorses it. Syntrax I get at Amazon...I like both they are powders and I add Water. And drink.....yum

So im on my 5th day of liquids...

There seems to be a lot of different pre-op diet plans by different doctors. It is best to check with yours and not to assume that it was alright to cheat..... Mine was 2 weeks of liquid Protein drinks and if I had cheated..He would have cancelled right away... Other surgeons are not so strict...It is best to check..k

What you should do is ask your surgeon if it will hurt you. sometimes it does not make a difference. Other surgeons postpone surgery because of it.... You need to ask so you can be less concerned about it

    I ain't gonna lie

It is hard, really hard..I did a liquid Protein drink twice and it was not a picnic.... Three or 4 days into it I lost my hunger...Only once in the 2 times I did it did I think I was going to lose it and that is when my daughter made this incredible lamb dinner that smelled to good to be not eaten....I did it though! I kept saying to myself if I can't do pre-op than I won't be able to lose the weight using the program.....Sooooooooooo I stuck to it.

    Im scared

Drinking lots of Water is great...If you are only a few weeks out make sure that you are sipping k...If you find you are dealing with head hunger it could be that your Protein intake is not enough... I have found that having a Protein Drink or a protein juice mix standing by and sipping it all day really helps the hunger and gives you the protein you may be lacking.....

    my 600 pound life

You can watch the surgery on Facebook as well.. I watched it several times before I had the surgery...Tried to watch some plastics to but ended up chucking after 4 min. Don't think that was a good idea. I watched it on Tuesday and found myself not being able to sit still. All I could see was myself being 600 lbs and the struggles I have gone through to fix this..Then to see that lady not doing what she needed to do..I found myself yelling at the screen.. Don't know if I will tune in next week..Maybe I am not ready to see it yet...Maybe my own experiences are still to fresh!

    MUST stop this eating!

Whether you want to hear this or not but most people do start to feel hunger again after several months. This is when the real work begins... Your body is now used to small amounts and probably on a food schedule. I know mine is. i understand your ravenous appetite. I feel it all the time now...But I know that it is partly head hunger and that I only need what I eat at those meals and I have one snack before bed.....There have been times like you that I give into it..but then I feel horrible both physically and mentally. Try making a Protein drink or protein juice and sipping it all day long. i have found it works quite well for me...It might not be the total answer because you have to fix the brain to fix the body and you would not have lost that much if some work had not already been done.... You have to understand that this is part of it and plow through it....There will be times when it dissipates again and then returns.... We are all food addicts or we would not have needed this surgery.....
  13. I still have not found my brain regarding my size..I almost get offended when people call me skinny...I am not skinny... I need to be 30 lbs. lighter for that...But in my head I need to be hundreds of lbs. lighter...I call it my fat head..I still see myself as very large.. I think having a defined roll around my center has not helped..It sticks out and makes me feel fatter then I was when it was all even you know! I really hope I can get this under control..Everyone says that once i get the lower body lift..I will be shocked at the transformation and the change in attitude that I will have about my self...Hope they are right!
  14. I know back to natural things..but coconut oil helps a lot and gives you a nice fruity, fresh smell...You can get it at costco or in the health food section at your local supermarket.....I use it after every bath now and it really works.

I have a cold too. Just don't dehydrated like I did. Nothing tasted right not even water. I'm still struggling to get the fluids in. Take care.

    lying to myself...........

the first 27 lbs. were pre-op. when I left the hospital after 5 months of no eating due to complications with my sleeve I was down 90 total....Since then I struggled to even eat for the first 3 months and lost a lot more... It has been a blast to lose this weight but not without a huge cost to me and my family... I hired a trainer recently and I am moving on to the next step..muscle rebuilding.... It has been a up and down journey for me..no special things done..Portion size and learning what is happening in this head of mine...It is all connected.. Sorry I don't have some more exciting revelations to share..But it has been hard work from the beginning to the end for me...There are a lot of people on here that sailed through..They would be the ones you need to get the info from.....k
  18. I met my new trainer today..He is very nice..We talked for over an hour and he laid out his plans for me...The next 8 weeks we will see each other 2 times a week..Each time he comes he will teach me a new move so that I can start building up lost muscle mass... The next will be once a week and so on...I have to start walking 8000 steps a day...Crap that is a few Kilometers like over 6. That's 4 miles a day........I better get started I think..yikes! Have to purchase 2 lb weights and 3 lb weights and a ball.. that you sit on.... So it begins..Soon I will have muscles that show...lol.......I hear Rocky going off in my head!!!!!!

    Going back to horse riding

You need to talk to your team about when you can do that. Most likely it will not be for a while. Your tender sleeve needs to completely heal before you do that..it will take a few months.....

Happy... but I miss rice. I shouldn't, right?

Glad you are trying other stuff..Must be great to have someone right along with you with a sleeve of their own..Sure makes it easier....I know where your coming from when you make a mistake like that but it will pass and you will want to try new things.....All the best!

Happy... but I miss rice. I shouldn't, right?

Maybe your sleeve can tolerate barley or split peas..There are so many different foods to explore.....Try other things you may find some compatible to your sleeve..I know I am always looking myself.....
