Maybe you never will get used to not drinking Water at meal times..But the outcome is pain you say if you do it...that will not change..Your sleeve does not stretch easily... You are diluting the food you consume by drinking water too early....Figure out something to do to make that 30-45 minutes pass before you take a drink..... I clear the table, load the dishwasher, straighten the kitchen and then I sit and talk to my hubby til the time comes that I can have a tea or water..... Drink your water all day if you want....64oz...of all the ice water you need.....k

There is a bigger issue going on here then food...Something in your head has not been fixed....What is driving you to abuse yourself like this...Only you know the answer hun! Food addiction is a horrible roller coast ride that can have horrible life threatening side effects...You know that because you did the hardest thing anyone can do....You had this surgery.... Now and only now you have to start listening to your body and your sleeve...Sounds silly....But your body sends you signals to stop eating......you are eating because of an emotional reason.... Measure out your 1 cup and place it beautifully on your plate and only eat that..Slow down and chew a lot..Put your fork down after each small bite and feel the food going down and you will realize you are being fed.....Give your brain enough time to tell you you have eaten enough....If you are hungry a hour later eat some fruit or a few nuts.... This is not a low calorie diet..This is a tool we all chose to get to give us the time to work out our food addictions...You have kept a lot off....It is a battle for sure...Hope you are getting in all your Water.... There are better days a head...grab them and run with them...This is your turn to be the person inside that really wants to come out...Brush the dust off, get back on the horse and ride like the wind....Stop sabotaging yourself for only the reasons you know...Take the time to find them and if you need to talk about it...I would be happy to help where I can....send me a message if you so desire! I am only 2 months a head of you and paid a huge price for my surgery.....I work at it every day and so does everyone else....It is your turn to get where you want to be....You can do this .....K

I am having trouble keeping my jeans up...Lost a pair on the sidewalk outside my house last week...Fortunately no one was around...won't wear them again...lol

Just went on Ebay and bought 2 of them..Thank you for your advice......I wear jackets, and sweaters all the time...I hope these will help with pulling it all in...

I buy my clothes at a thrift shop so it is difficult to find just the right things to wear...Yes in Canada it is stating to get colder and we are into light sweaters...guess I can't wear them till I deflate... Thanks guys for your words of encouragement!

No it's skin...and it is driving me nuts....I went down a size in clothes and they all fit except the result has been this tube of whatever hanging over my jeans...i feel like I can't even stand myself right now.....crap

The last 2 weeks I have changed..or my body has...I now have a tube around my middle and it sticks out father then my stomach and over top of my jeans...I feel so fat and ugly...I keep crying about it...Hubby tried to take an update picture since I am down another 30 lbs. But I said i did not like any of them... My middle is too big...... I can only handle spanx when I go out... And most of the time they don't fit properly and roll down or..never mind I won't give all the details about the problems I am having with Spanx......I feel like I am getting bigger because of how far it sticks out.....

A lot of us who are much farther along complain about burping or farting..okay I said it! I burp a lot glad it is not the other way for me....11 months out and does not matter if it is one bite or ten..I burp several times during my meal...I also sneeze and my nose runs when I am full...It is the way some of our bodies tell us we're full... I was told that the body always gives signals when it is full...But now we have no choice but to listen to them or we get sick.....A little off topic but same problem and why...lol

I am returning so that he can fix whatever is wrong with me now...When you get a Doctor in Canada unless he/she has killed someone with a shotgun you keep them...Okay a bit of an exasperation...lol.... .Doctors are rare here. We can't just drop them willy nilly...Our system is different here then in the States...We don't have tons and tons of Doctors.....I have not seen him since 2006....My GP said I had to see him...He is an ass but he is the best at what he does here....So splitting hairs....Yes it is not my idea of a good time...but I have no choice but to see him......

I know he won't know me...but I know him....It really will be interesting how it goes this time

Vitamins: I take Trader Joe's High Potency Chewable multi-Vitamin (double dose), plus an Iron supplement, B-12, vitamin D, and 1 calcium citrate petite. When I was on liquids, I took liquid Vitamins from Wellesse. ​Add to this magnesium, and Zinc...Zinc is a body healer and must be taken at three weeks on and three weeks off..I had 11 surgeries after my sleeve and Zinc has helped with all the healing....I take Biotin for my hair and skin and yogurt gel and a cranberry gel pill every day....Some times I take a probiotic gel because I have had issues after the sleeve and that has helped to deal with them.....

My husband told me that I can only lose 25 more lbs. Because when I have skin removal that will take care of the other 25 lbs. I looked at him like he had 3 heads.....First I am too fat, now he is worried about how much I am losing....Like you I will continue until my body is happy where it is, and not before.....lol

Your recovering from major surgery those first three weeks...You will be lucky to get even a little Protein and Water down...Your tummy is new and will respond accordingly....Give yourself time to heal and most of all do not panic....It will all come in time..But it takes time..most people drink broth and Protein shakes as there protein in the beginning...You will struggle to get some down at first..Like I said it is a healing and time game at first...You cannot force your sleeve to do something it is not ready to do! You have sex when you are ready and comfortable....That is different for each person. Constipation is a problem for a lot of sleevers....Taking stool softeners will assist in this area... My Surgeon only allows me to take Tylenol..So that is the only pain killer I take and have not made a choice to take anything else up to this point..... You should be given a list of Vitamins to take by your NUT. Follow that list closely...We can never eat enough to get our daily requirement...That will be a life long change....I know it will be for me..... Hope I helped a little...

I have food police too...I don't know anyone who has had this surgery personally...But I have some friends and family that try to interfere with what I eat....I lose it fast... Don't know what I would do if it were a trusted friend though.. She must see you are in control...I mean you look fantastic!
