Hi kimba5600 how are things going so far? Have been able to start walking some, this will really help if you're sore & with weight loss. Drink as much as you can. Have a great day.

Congrats Vicky. I'm in Cleveland had surgery in 2012 & still maintaining. Keep exercising that's the trick. Plus it helps with the hanging skin.

I know what you mean about Mexico cheaper could cost you you life. I'll keep you all posted on my plans, gotta wait & save.

I am happy for you. Care to share what you had done. Considering tummy tuck, money is the major factor.
-
Glad that you're back on the exercise track. Sometimes a break is good so long as you come back. See in the gym!!

Sounds like you are taking care of business!! I swear by strength training. It really helps make the loose skin in arms look better.

October 2013 roll call
adcrag1 replied to montero163's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Good luck to you all!! Be ready to get out of that bed and walk, that will help the soreness you may have. My prayers go out to ya all. -

These boots were made for walkin!
adcrag1 replied to Chivon32's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
The boots are great, I'm just loving that my feet don't hurt. Before the sleeve my feet hurt no matter what I wore. I'll never go back to that - feels & looks marvelous to be fit. -
I did get some pain, but mostly uncomfortable full feeling.

Starting slow but steady is the trick. I have added different stuff to find what I like. Bike riding in my neighbor is my latest. Its harder that riding in the gym, my legs are getting tighter.
-
Hey exercise is suppose to help us, not hurt us. If you workout to soon you're putting yourself at risk for complications. So everyone be smart get doctors clearance & start smart!! Have fun the gym is not going anywhere. Good luck
-
Hey Sleeved In Seattle, congrats for return to gym. Take it easy, the bar was too much for your new stomach. Try protein drink instead. When I went back after surgery, I had to remember not to drink to fast or to much without pain. You'll figure out what works for you

Congrats, ask about the nausea meds. They really help. My doc gave me these round like bandaids with medicine. Don't know the name I am sure they will. It went behind my ear & lasted 3 days. I promise you'll feel better each day.

Sounds like things are moving along nicely. I want the same work done (stomach, waist & skin hanging on back), anyone got $10,000??? I take all forms of payment!! Seriously keep up the good work our prayers are with ya
