I had a lift done on 8/8/13 and I am more than pleased. I only took 1/2 of pain pills prescribed for a day or so. Absolutely the easiest surgery I've ever had. Now for implants and TT in November...

I was there on Nov 22. We ate at the Lucerna the night b4 surgery and had an awesome meal. After that we stayed at the hospital the whole time. and only went at the hospital edges to a couple pharmacies. The cafe in hotel was awesome for my husband and son....

Well, I had the same thoughts as you and went back and forth. In the end, my desire for a change and knowing this was the only way I was going to get it. So, I went for it. I'm currently almost 2 weeks out Thursday and feel great. I've been sticking to the plan and have lost over 10 pounds already. hope it continues. it's all a personal decision, just do your homework and know what your getting into... best wishes, Traci

Hi Melody, i'm from Ok and was just down at Mexicalli last week. I don't think you have to worry much about scarring unless you get an infected one or you keloid or something (which I do in some areas), I can already tell 4 places will be almost impossible to find and the only one that may be noticed is where the drain was. Your dr may not even use a drain, so there ya go... Good luck to you...

I changed my thyroid medicine and wanted it rechecked b4 heading down there next month. I also included some typical chemistry panels and liver enzymes, also c reactive protein. I'm a member of Life Extensions and you can order the lab from them and go to certain facilities and have it emailed to you in a few days. It cost me about 150, but worth not having to try to get copy of my lab from pcp. I'm anal about keeping my records in chronological order (ha- first born of course).

Hi Kittvalley, seems as this forum is almost dead, maybe we all can revive it. I'll send a message to moderator. I started this journey this summer but was turned down r/e not "fat" enough. Honestly, my 50 pounds feels like 100 to my self-esteem. I've been a lifelong chubbster and never have known what its like to be normal. I've did IVF in Mexico multiple times and the facility was better than the states. I'm going to Dr Aceves on the 26th of Oct and pray all goes well. There is no hope of me ever being normal without help. best wishes, Traci
