Oops, date of surgery was aug 24th

I stalled in week 3 also, for a week and noe I have stalled again in week 6...very frustrating so I try to stay away from the scales

I agree that you may need a little more time. I took off 2 weeks and that seemed perfect for me, not because u was in pain but I had to get used to my new tummy and eating and that was a huge adjustment for me. I also felt tired a lot so I knew there was no way I could return to work and not fall asleep at my desk. If you can only get 4 days I'm sure you wil make it thru but in my opinion your body needs a little more time to heal best if luck to you.

I stalled at the end of week 2 for 2 whole weeks! I was so mad I put myself thru this just to lose 20 lbs and stop?? But then i just starting losing again. So I know it's discouraging but try to stay away from the scale and go by how your clothes are fitting. The weight will come off but for some reason the inches come off faster

Yes I feel the same way, I will be 4 weeks on Friday too but I had my 4 week appt today and the doc said it's because the swelling has gone down. Got moved to soft/pureed foods today, so excited!! Eventhough u can't eat much it's sure nice to chew after a month

Ugh! I ENVY you! I have been on full liquids since 8/24 and I may get to move to puree foods this Thursday. I want to chew!! Congrats on your success

Mine was 2 hours 20 minutes.... I don't know or remember the recovery room time or if my husband was allowed back there?? Good drugs lol

My doctor was Dr. Salzberg at Riverside Weight Loss, in Hampton although the surgery was performed at the hospital in Newport news. I was sleeved on 8/24/12 and feeling great! The only complaint I can come up with is he keeps you on liquids too long!! I need FOOD.

I was august 24, but I figured it was close enough I too am 21 lbs down as far as eating, I am still on full liquids I don't get to start foods until next Thursday. That has been the hardest part!! Sounds like you are doing great, I wish you the best of luck and continued success

Spot on! I love this post, I feel Luke you are writing for me I such crazy thoughts like too and it's nice to share a laugh about it once in a while instead of sitting at home determined we have a leak, are going to die, etc. Thx for this, I needed to get myself back in check

I only had my pills crushed while in the hospital, once released (3 days post op) I was able to take them without crushing. The vitamin I got was a chewable because they are so big. You should be fine taking them without crushing as long as you can swallow them easily. Best of luck to you

Congrats! That is awesome...I'm only 2 weeks post-op but I am excited to see where I am in another 5 weeks . Keep up the good work!
