good luck with your surgery. i am scheduled for sept 18th!! as far as diets not sure if it matters but i have dr cavazos in san antonio texas and am a 27 year old female with a bmi of 46. my diet is for 7 days and consist of two protein shakes and one palm sized meal consisting mostly of protein and tons of water.

ugh its so frustrating. when i first started this process i always said im more scared of not getting approved than i am of the actual surgery but after six months my paperwork was sent in and five day later got a call back saying i was approved and surgery is in two weeks. i think i got lucky but i sure was on edge those five days. hopefully you find out soon.

so finally after a long six months i got approved. sent my paperwork in on aug 22 and got a call back the 27th saying they can get me in on september 11th. it seems so unreal but i am super excited. so for all the people that have already had the surgery how long does it take people to start noticing and how long till you need to start buying new clothes?
