  1. I can't take ANY b's w/o feeling sick so i get the monthly shot. I also can't take a big dose of Vit A. My heart races & i turn red. So i take flinestone kids vit 2x a day. Be careful bcs we can overdo it on some of these vitamins. If you are eating a good balanced meal, a regular vitamin regime should be enough. Of course, this doesn't work until you can tolerate enough food in your sleeve.
  2. You have got to be kidding!! This is sheer craziness. I've been lurking on this post, not adding anything bcs iggy has been doing a great job in guiding you. But i want to reinforce that you need to cause a stink!!! Enough already. Demand a leak test. Demand fluids. You don't need the nurses to like you! If you care about that then tell the nurses that you apologize for being a b***h, and then BE ONE!!!! This is your life, not theirs. If you don't feel strong enough to make noise, do you have a relative that can? Someone needs to call the hospital and speak to the nurse in charge and also, call the doc's office. This is not right. Remember that the squeaky wheel gets greased!!

    Sugar Alcohol

Nope, your body cannot absorb sugar alcohols. But be careful! Too much of it can cause bloating and painful gas. It also can have a laxative affect. Sometimes i'll have an Atkins bar if my chia seeds and miralax don't work. :-)
  4. I was like a cartoon character this morning! It took me 45 minutes to get dressed. I was tossing clothes all over the place. I went from size 24 to 20 pretty slowly. I THOUGHT that I was still a 20. Nope!! Nothing was fitting! I'm now a size 18 loose. I swear this happened overnight, yet the scale has barely budged. Weird. Good weed!

    Getting Dressed!

'Good weed?' LOL!!! That's great typo! I meant good weird. :-)
  12. Pipula, let us know if it helps. I am still getting notices but it has seemed to slow down since I went to settings and clicked 'no notifications when phone is locked.' Now I only get about 3 or so every hour when locked instead of 50plus. :-)

    Power Crunch Protien Bars

They are so good that I got addicted to them! That's ALL my body craved. I think it's the carbs. Getting addicted to them was bad news for me. Sent me on a 2 week downward spiral eating too many carbs and it was not fun pulling myself out of it. Craving were STRONG. So if you need to eat low carbs or are insulin sensitive like I am, do yourself a favor and stay away from them. They are just like cookies...

Burning Pain Under My Shoulder Blade.

I'm kinda not surprised....but I feel for you. I had to have mine out 6 weeks after my sleeve surgery. It def has set me back and slowed my recovery and weight loss. BUT gallbladder attacks can be horrific!!!
  16. Alex- I'm still getting the alerts also. I turned off the alerts while it's on lock so at least its not draining the battery. I hope the kinks get worked out soon. Good luck!
  17. Aha! Got it!! Thank you and thanks to the OP for posting the problem. Judy
  18. Correct, that does work, doneky. But not for everything. I keep getting alerts on my iphone. And old alerts along w repeating ones. For example, I keep getting an alert that I have a PM, when that PM was from a few days ago. There's def a glitch in the system that is affecting some of us. I figure that they'll straighten it out soon.
  19. Lol! Oh yeah! That's iggy. Lazy as can be!! Gives us zero inspiration. She's such a bum. (Dripping in sarcasm!) Honestly, just when I thought people couldn't be any meaner or ruder, someone post something like this. Come on!! We are REAL people, not just words on your screen! Think before you type! I'm on week 10 post-surgery and just on Friday got cleared to exercise. I'll gladly sit on your 'lazy bench' with many other fine people on here. To the OP: everyone's body is different. Anesthesia makes me so ditzy and dizzy that it takes me over a month to drive myself places or trust myself to go anywhere alone.
  20. Nope, you can't, i've tried.. It IS so annoying!!! My iphone has been blowing up w repetitive notifications.

    Exercise Illiterate...help;)

I have 2 knee replacements and HATE the elliptical machine. Make sure you test out any machine before you buy.
