I had to do it for 3 weeks. My daughter did it for me, but it really is painless. I didn't mind having the shots, better safe than sorry. -

Congratulations TamaraS! 17lbs wow! I have the same feelings...sometimes I feel soooo hungry, so what I'm doing is when I feel like I want to eat I make myself busy, like going for a walk, or even jumping in the shower. It's amazing how much a few little distraction can do. If that doesn't work, just think about how well you are doing, that should be good incentive to stay on the right track. -

TamaraS, I can't believe you are still on liquid only! My doctor has allowed me to eat cereal and milk in the morning or cream of wheat and creamed soups for lunch and supper...not great, but a heck of a lot better than just liquid. -

I had my surgery on the Sept. 24th and am doing well. The first few days were slightly uncomfortable but the pain meds did the trick. Good luck all.... -
