I'm 3 weeks 2 days post op and I haven't lost in 7 days!!! Start weight day of surgery was 225 now I'm 211 but haven't lost any more in a whole week...I feel like I'm too early out to be stalling so long!!! Feeling like a failure...actually the scale said I gained half a pound this morning I'm jealous of everyone else who is losing lol

Can't wait till I can exercise!! I wanna do some zumba...when were u cleared?

I am 3 weeks and 2 days post op...I am on soft foods but I feel like I'm able to eat more then I should at this point...I can eat 1/2 to 3/4 of baked flounder and maybe even 2 bites of green beans...but then I'm hungry 2 hours later...its fustrating ...is my sleeve bigger because I had the band first?

Congrats!! I was sleeved Oct 8th...I lose 15 lbs so far I didn't have a pre op diet to do...I have been stalled for 8 days now... how much are you able to eat...sometimes I am able to eat quite a bit sometimes I can eat the whole piece of a thin flounder fish in about 20 mins

I'm not going to weigh myself until next Wednesday!! I'm so determined that I told my hubby to the scale lol

Thanks...I hear so much about people losing 25+ lbs the first month...well Monday will be 4 weeks for me And I only lost 14 lbs I guess I'm a slow loser...thanks for the inspiration!!

Thanks guys it helps a lot I been stalled for 7 days so its a lil frustrated....but I know now this too shall pass

I was sleeved Oct 8th and I'm just started soft foods today...this morning I had half a banana...for lunch I am going to try a very small crab cake...and dinner refried beans with a lil cheese....does this sound okay? ...how much of these foods should I be able to eat at this point

I had surgery Oct 8th....I'm super hungry and tired of the same old same....I cooked my family chilli tonight and tasted one kidney bean lol...

I am going thru it with hunger.... I just want to eat some real food...even if it is tuna salad.... I have a hubby and two young kids to cook dinner for and its so had not to try a lil piece of what they are eating....its so frustrating I want to scream...I thought my hunger hormone was gone? They ordered pizza hut last night and I decided to go nap so I would watch them eat but I smelled it and had a lil dream about a slice of pep pizza ...I have 5 more days of full liquids then I can go to soft foods...I just don't wanna look at another protein shake again....sorry I'm just being real...I had to vent!!!

I was sleeved Oct 8th and I am now able to sleep on my tummy!!

I'm 4 days post op....I am very weak...Im only getting about 20 g protein a day and like 20 ounces of liquids daily....and I can't sleep!!! I'm a stomach sleeper and I been having to lay on my back ughhh I can't wait to be better

I had the band and just got a revision 3 days ago...I hated that band...I only lost 30 pounds and ended up gaining it all back...I got stuck on everything

I'm only 3 days post op so I have a while until the doc clears me....I used to do zumba 3days a week at golds gym but I'm not a member anywhere...so I guess I have to find a new place to dance! Lil I'm doing pretty good post op...I have two young kids and a husband so its a lil hard on me right now...my mom has agreed to watch the kids for a week so that's great....do u have kids? Husband?

Tiff I have a lot of mucous in my throat too....my nurses told me I can try and cough it out just hold on to the pillow against your stomach... I cough several times a day to dry and get it out...my nose and throat are beyond dry..I have blood in my nose from it being so dry

I had my band to sleeve op done on the 8th which means I'm 2 days postop....I'm having a hard time getting protein but I'm trying. Not much gas pain mostly left side insicion pains...I'm now a sleeved yay!!!!!! Sorry if my post is a lil weird I'm drugged up on loritab! PS I only has to stay over night at the hospital

I'm one day post op and when I drink anything I feel a pain in my new tummy that goes away after a couple seconds... is this normal?

Thanks guys I'm just having a tough time getting in my fluids because of this...I really appreciate the input shows that I'm not alone
