Why No Babies? :(
PerfectlyImperfect replied to SweetSaso's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Remind yourself that its much easier to get pregnant without the extra weight. Site plus is when you do start trying it will be that much easier I do know someone who got pregnant 5 months after surgery. It was an oops baby but she carried to term and the baby was healthy. She continued to watch her diet while pregnant. -

Protein Bars?
PerfectlyImperfect replied to Vidalia's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I have a protein bar for breakfast every morning. I also eat raw fruit as a snack and raw veggies. I've had no issues all on my allowed list and I'm just shy of 2 months out. -
5 Weeks Out And Had 5 Almonds... So Good.
PerfectlyImperfect replied to Strangefruit's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My nut and dr approved nuts of all kinds after 6 weeks. They are a great source of protein. As long as you chewed really well you will be fine. -
Help! Please.
PerfectlyImperfect replied to Biellita165's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Only clear liquids the day before surgery. I was 316. I don't know what he does with everyone else I never asked. My liver was/is ideal size and "texture". My dr said I was in his top 5 of easiest surgeries he's ever done. I was/am over weight but never had any health issues from my weight -

I look at my plate and realize for the first thanksgiving in my life I won't be able to finish the small amount or go for seconds. I was able to have a bite of everything I like and was done. It feels good to walk away but what a serious moment of reality that this is a whole new life!!

What Does Goal Look Like For You?
PerfectlyImperfect replied to Fiddleman's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm wanting a size 10. It's less about the number on the scale and more about size. I'm tall with larger hips and breasts (will be large with weight loss since they were big in my you get years). -

Cereal is allowed in my diet. I don't have it often and typically since my lunch and dinner are seriously protein filled I don't concern myself too much with that part. I've lost 50 lbs in 7 weeks and ive not avoided much of what others do. I think it's all up to your dr, nut and your body
