PerfectlyImperfect replied to AaronRene14's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
It sounds like low sugar. I went through something similar lasted a week. I had to had a form of sugar to my daily diet. I added OJ. I started feeling better after a few days. -
Great News Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
PerfectlyImperfect replied to newgrandmother's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
New grandmother....congrats girl on the loss. I have said to many people I know it's not how fast you lose it's the fact you are losing. Keep up the great work And I agree with the negative comments. I feel there is a way to tell someone they aren't doing the right thing or that you don't agree with their decisions without coming off rude or nasty. I too have see a pattern on who continuously gives negative feedback or comments. I tend to ignore them. They will post on your topics but once you see the pattern of who is and who isn't nasty it makes it easier to skip over them in a post. I'm so happy you're feeling better. I go through days every now and then when I feel down. But we will get Through it and we will look amazing! -

When Did You Eat Pizza?
PerfectlyImperfect replied to Lollyx3's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had my first few bites today at almost 7 weeks. Only 3 bites and I was done. But all went well -
Know this has probably been a topic broached a million times here so sorry for asking again. But tell me about coffee. When were you able to drink it? If ordering from a place like DD or SB what would you order. Prior to the surgery I drank it every single day. Every kind you can think of. Lattes, capps, frappe etc etc. now I'm wanting a cup of coffee SO bad I'm going crazy. Thanks in advance for your advice and opinions

My doctor had me out of work for a full 6 weeks. He says it's to give my body time to heal and get used to eating and being tired. So today is my first day back and I am exhausted. Just over an hour left of my shift and I'm barely going to walk out of here lol. I have no idea how some of you go back to work so fast. Just a small ranting.

My dr pulled mine off at my first follow up. 10 days. They were so sore for a day and the the air helped heal them pretty quickly. -
Sleeping On My Stomach
PerfectlyImperfect replied to humnopnop's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I slept on my side and stomach night of surgery. Dr told me if I was not in pain then I could. There's a lot of cushion between my actual stomach and my skin. Lol -
Other Procedures After Weight Loss?
PerfectlyImperfect posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I've been thinking a lot about things I want after I lose the rest of my weight. Hoping I don't have serious loose skin. I want a boob life and possible reduction if they don't go down more. And since I'm part of the no booty crew I'm seriously considering butt implants. Everyone thinks I'm crazy but I want curves not a board lol. -

I read and responded and you are fine and still doing great. Oh if you have a Japanese restaurant you can also get meso soup or their onion soup. -
Serious Question Need Advice ..please
PerfectlyImperfect replied to steelergirl's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
You'll be fine. Those noodles are so soft. We all have a weak moment it's just making sure we dont have a lot of them. At 7 days I had a bite of a cheese stick and was so worried. My doc laughed at me when I told him. -

Are You Proud Of Your Decision?
PerfectlyImperfect replied to steelergirl's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm not ashamed. I just don't tell everyone because simply its not their business. If they were to ask how I'm doing it chances are I'd tell them to truth. Don't have time to come up with a story. However it isn't something that would just come up in any given conversation. -
What Do You Eat?
PerfectlyImperfect replied to ad2422's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm with UTgal. I don't really put a lot of thought into it. I know it's not much. I'd think I do about 10g a day -

Holy Moly..yummmmmmmm
PerfectlyImperfect replied to steelergirl's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I did this. But there is a lot of oil in it so be careful. Also onion Soup with the onions strained out. Minestrone with everything strained out. I tried everything to not drink straight chicken/beef broth -
Another Reason Not To Tell People.....
PerfectlyImperfect replied to Queen of Crop's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I've told people. Not everyone, mainly close friends and family. No one asks me too many questions. But a few of my friends have had it done so they will just ask about my experience with something we've both been through. The main person is my grandma who asks me every time I see her how much I've lost, but she's 85 so I let it slide lol -
I Thought These Would Go Away....
PerfectlyImperfect posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I realize I am only at 6 weeks and as of this morning I'm down 43 lbs. HOWEVER I went shopping yesterday and bought some pants, went from size 24 to an 18. I was SO excited. I then went and got fitted for a bra..... no excitment. I started this journey at a 46 FF and I am now a 40 FF. So the band went down but nothing came off the cup. Now I wasnt expecting them to be way down to a B cup or lower. When I was 12 I was a DD already and wasnt not overweight at all. I also realize they have plenty of time to go down, but how frustrating to find the only thing I havent lost anything off of is my breats. I want smaller, easier to manage boobs!!!! If they dont go down with the rest of me that means MORE surgery to get a reduction. Ok end of vent. I know its not something some people would be upset about, but these things are out of control lol -

I know some can do it. I have fibromyalgia and I'm sure that is adding to it. Plus it's cold and raining here. -

To Weigh In Or Not To Weigh In Daily - That Is The Question....
PerfectlyImperfect replied to MerrySoul678's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I weighed every day my first week and realize how bad it was for me emotionally. Although I was losing if I didn't lose as much as I wanted I would get upset. Now I weigh, measure and snap my progress pic every Sunday -
I am on it. I have slight reflux which burns so bad at night if I don't take it. Right after surgery I opened the capsule and pour in my mouth. Now I just swallow the pill directly.
