It Seams That My Weightloss Has Stoped

I can tell you that I eat 1,000 calories a day and exercise 45 minutes a day and still I struggle. I have Hashimoto's (thyroid) disease also, so I think it affects me weight loss. You should get your thyroid checked!

It Seams That My Weightloss Has Stoped

You are not alone my friend! The same thing happened to me. My pattern has become, stall, drop a few, gain one......stall, drop a few, gain one......and the stall can last up to three weeks! But, in the scheme of things, we are still heading in the right direction!

    Esophagus Complications?

I wasn't officially diagnosed, but I was constantly choking on things. Since the surgery I've had no problems at all, especially since in the beginning everything is liquids and purees. Now that I'm graduating to normal food, I've been great! Once in a blue moon it feels a bit scary, but once I relax, all is fine.
  5. I'm mortified this morning. I have really and truly been following all the rules and not only did I hit a plateau, I've gained three pounds in two weeks. I ecxercise 45 minutes a day and I'm eating less than 1,000 calories a day. I do have hashimotos disease, but I take thyroid medicine for that and my t3 and t4 is normal! I'm calling the doctor today. This is insane! And the story of my life and how I got here in the first place. I track every morsel I eat in my fitness pal and I track my exercise as well. I'm dying........... Any suggestions are welcome! I had my surgery on 8 oct 12 and had lost 30 pounds total, pre and post weight loss, now 28 pounds, obviously...... This is awful!

    Plateau And Weight Gain

I see that a lot of people here are doing 600 - 800. My doc said 1200, so I'm doing 800 to 1000.

It Seams That My Weightloss Has Stoped

I'm currently in my first stall that has lasted nearly two weeks. I'm at the 7 week mark. I'm still waiting for a break in this stall! My cousin (in the picture with me) is many months out and says that she experiences three weeks of no loss then drops alot of weight for about ten days, then repeats the cycle! My fingers are crossed for all of us! :-)
  10. I was having a slightly similar episode awhile back and my doctor asked that I get tested for c-dif.
  11. Yes, I get so cold at times, the only thing that warms me up is a hot shower!

    Help...dont Eat

I definitely have had to take it slow. And keep some wetness to what I eat, or it's no fun going down. I'm about six weeks out.

    Plateau And Weight Gain

Well, I've officially gained four pounds in two weeks averaging about 800 calories a day net. I tried eating more calories.....as recommended by some and tha t did not work, so I guess my next move is to go down to 600. This is maddening. It doesn't seem sustainable, when all I read says our bodies need 1000 a day just to survive.

    Plateau And Weight Gain

You guys are awesome! Thank you so much for your input! Especially the scientific stuff! It's something I can wrap my brain around! Makes total sense!
  16. I'm in my first stall as well, at six weeks out. I'm very nervous about this.
