Hi there,
I'm Jenny and I've been trying to lose weight for most of my adult life. I was not overweight until my newborn son was diagnosed with cancer. I comforted myself during his treatment too much with food, and while I stopped doing that so much, I never could take off the weight and keep it off. Time and time again I lost 100 lbs just to gain it back, and more. (My son is 17 and perfect now BTW!) I finally realized I need help to lose it and make it stick!
I want to stop killing myself with food. I want to eat to live, not live to eat. I want food to stop running my life. I want to do all the things that I should at this age. I don't want to sit on the sidelines while my son rides the roller coasters alone. I want to hold my grandchildren if he has them! I want to date and find love. Oh and I forgot. I want to never be offered a seat belt extender on a plane again.
That's it for now. My surgery is almost here (Oct 18, 2012) and my excitement is through the roof!!!!
