    I, too, was denied by insurance. I went to KC Dr. Hoehn of KC Bariatric. It was about $14,000 by the time it was all said and done.

    Love Dr. Hoehn. I'm from Joplin and drove almost three hours. I was sleeved on August 16. 299 SW. Current weight 228.

    I don't count calories, protein, nor carbs. I'm horrible at trying to get my exercise in.I make sure that I eat my protein first then veggies. I was sleeved on August 16. My starting weight was 299. Today I weigh 228. Don't stress. Get your water in.

    Surgery 8/16 SW 299 day of surgery 280 Today 246 Breakfast: Greek yogurt Lunch: Family meal left overs Dinner: Regular food, nothing special. Snacks: low fat low sodium mozzarella cheese sticks I don't exercise as much as I would like. I go to work at 6:30am and get home around 6pm...fix dinner, enjoy family time...not a lot of extra time. I feel fantastic! Best decision ever!
