Hey all I had my pre op appt today. All is a go! Just have to do my pre op testing 10 days before surgery and clear liquids the day before surgery. I told my surgeon how nervous i was and he replied "beautiful if you we're not nervous I would ask you to go back to psych" lol!

Well today is the day for me pre op appt. I have all my final questions written down, and I'm ready to go!!! Any questions that you guys forgot to ask at your appt? Anyway good luck to all of you on this journey!

How are you feeling now?

I'm scheduled for surgery 10/15 and I'm so confused every day I start out excited and then by evening I change my mind! I live with my boyfriend and I'm not sure if I'm going to even let him know that I am having surgery because he has a hard time lying to people so I know that he would just give it away if someone asked him. So im not going to give him that burden.Not that I'm ashamed I just don't think it's anyone else's business. I'm 29yo nurse and student from NJ.

So 2 questions 1) what are you doing to prepare for the first day? 2) what sexy Halloween costume do you plan on wearing next year??!?!? My answers 1. Cleaning, shopping for post ip stuff, and freaking out in between. 2. I'm a nurse, so I'm thinking I may be a naughty nurse next year;)
