Glad to hear it didn't close on you Me, I'm buying up retainers for my surgery and/or any future MRIs. Even things I've had for decades tend to try and close fast on me -is the reason I've had one nipple re-done 3X.... I've 18 holes and 5 of them I don't think I could go through the pain of having repierced; definitely not 2 of them, as I almost blacked out during them and then spent about 2-3 weeks holding ice on my vulva to ease the pain and swelling. Not. Doing. It. Again. for all I love having them. Best wishes in healing!!!

Please forgive me if this comes across as a bit too blunt: why do you still talk to her or allow her in your life when she's like that? Sharing some genes with someone is not enough to excuse them being toxic people to you. I have not spoken to my father or most of that side of my family in years because he and most of them are such hateful, hurtful people. Best decision of my life so far, truly. I don't miss them and I feel 300% better than when I allowed them to hurt me by being in my life.

Definitely creepy. If it was in doubt before (but really, how much doubt was there... no interest in you heavy and now asking you out, with no other changes or mention of his wife being along), it crossed over to for-sure creepy when he leaned in and said something in your ear. Personal space violation and definitely more than playful flirting. Personally, I like fun flirting. It's harmless and makes for some smiles here and there! But this doesn't sound like light co-worker joke-flirting, it sounds like "hey-my-wife-won't-know-how-about-it?" flirting.

I got it!! She was very nice, gave me a booklet, made the referrals. I am to attend the seminar on May 18th and should be getting a call about the psych eval in the next 10 days. On my way.

Stress! I went last week to talk to my PCP about gettig surgery and she seemed supportive, just wanted me to get some labs done. Today I go back for lab results and to see if she actually gives me the referral (am on Tricare Prime). I'm so nervous that she'll surprise me and not refer me. I have the appt at 1440 central time today. Yikes. Wish me luck!!

I know now, before surgery, that I have one. It was discovered a few years ago when I had an upper GI xray due to bad acid reflux and them worrying I had an ulcer or other problem... so they were doing checks for hernias and ulcers and such stomach issues.

Oooh, hope you get some good answers as I'm curious, too. Am just starting my journey through Tricare Prime, myself. Good luck!!

I've started thinking about this and am afraid of the excess skin factor. If need be and Tricare won't cover it for rubbing-sake, I think I'll spend my own money for tucks and lifts and all that. I used to love how long and lean my hands and feet looked when I was thin, am looking forward to them not being all pudged out anymore (plus being able to fit smaller rings again!!). No double chin. No multiple back rolls. Being able to see private zone below my breasts and stomach, where they stick out too far now (especially as I have piercings there that I currently can't take in and out by myself due to reaching issues). If my excess skin isn't too bad or I have a TT I can get a navel piercing again. So much will change. Good luck to you!!
