I would always go with protein first, i bought whey protein in choc,.& mix with skim milk, milk has 8 g of protein in 1 cup,& i feel better than ever. But most important,listen to your body, everyones body is different,.& it may take longer,.good luck -

Did they put a drain in you after surgery? I know some drs do, it may not show on the scale if you have a lot of fluid in you. -

This pre-op diet is horrible...what i dont understand is why some ppl are on strict liquids and some are high protein (me) , i guess it could be worse :/ -

Hi Im a 33 yr old mom of 3 little ones,(7,4,2) & am wondering how long was it after surgery until you could say you felt 'good'? My husband works out of town all week, and Im not sure how long ill need help. Ive had 3 c-sections,.is this surgery compariable?
