Count me in for another challenge. I find them very inspiring and motivating!!

Join the club. I rejoice when people notice I've lost weight. Although everytime I get compliments I start getting cravings for junk food. I really don't get that! There could be some deep issues here which I don't want deal with - I wish I knew what they are. Keep up the great work, I'm rooting for you! :whoo:

Hello Susan: I'm so happy you posted and congratulations on your promotion. As everyone says we are one in this journey. This past week I couldn't keep away from those darn Halloween chocolates and today I finally chucked them all in the garbage (much to my mother's chagrin - but then she doesn't need to lose weight). We all understand how situations in life make us lose control and makes us eat out of control. WE ARE ALL THE SAME with one goal in mind - to get healthier. Think of this as a hiccup along your journey and now that you've gone for another fill start looking ahead and don't look back!!! We are all proud of you.

We all know how you're feeling right now but the fact you had the courage to post and ask for help and encouragement is half the battle. Nobody is perfect (I'm sitting here giving you encouragement as I shove a halloween chocolate bar in my mouth ) - this to let you know you're not alone in the junk food fight. We'll take it one day at a time and keep in mind that in the short-term we will slip up but it's the long-term goal we need to focus on. I wouldn't worry. Having experienced their understanding and sympathetic nature, I find it hard to believe they would cancel your surgery for $300.00.

Their website is a wealth of information Laparoscopic Band Surgery (Lap / Stomach Band Weight Loss Surgery) - Toronto Laparoscopic Band Centre or you can have them send you a package by writing at info@tlbc.ca. Their phone number is 1 800 409 8151 and I'm sure they can answer any questions you may have. I was banded there and I strongly recommend it. Dr. Yau and all the staff there are fantastic!

Hello Loriely: I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your pet. They are wonderful companions, trusted friends and much loved family members. You are doing the right thing by burying him in the yard. I know it will be hard but let me tell you knowing he's still at 'home' makes all the difference. I have my pet beagle Luna buried in my backyard (it's one year today that we lost her) but visiting her little spot in the backyard is really quite comforting. I'll be thinking of you.
