I haven't been here forever, don't know if its the new setup or life causing me to nit be online as much. I have really missed the support and info. My hubby had surgery in December, so I'm trying to get back on track with him. I'm staying right at the same weight but still have 10-15 to go. I'm 16 months out, but I'm not sure how many posts I have. Nice to see the banter between some off you still continuing, makes me smile!

Day three, 6 miles so far right on track, wish I could do more... Soon very soon... Nsv today, walked into a gyro place that we had been to before, the kid working behind the counter, after I ordered my meat without bread, says you are looking so skinny, what are you doing? Are you trying to lose cause you look great! Yay!

I'm going to shoot for 2 miles a day, which would be 62 miles for Dec. I think that is doable for me right now. Wish I could do the plank challenge, I can't wait to get working on my abs, maybe Jan

I found the forum, yes I've been walking. I'm struggling from pain on left side, sharp stabbing, not able to breathe deeply, cough or sneeze without dying. I put a call into the dr. Just waiting now. I think my goal Could be 2 miles a day for Dec.

Haven't been on keeping track on here daily, but since my surgery I wasn't sure what a realistic goal was. Had my panniculectomy and hernia repair Nov 5, so I set my goal at 20 I think. I just calculated and hit 33.85 miles, which is nowhere near what I did in Oct, but far exceeded my goal for November....I just need to remember it will take time you get back to where I was! Is there a Dec challenge, I hope?

what was your panniculectomy like?
Meliss000 replied to Heather M's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
Just a removal of the hanging skin usually under the belly button. Sometimes like in my case insurance will pay for it. Tummy tuck involves muscles and you upper and lower stomach -

Sorry it took so long to get back, first I dislike this new app very much, secondly being on pain Meds, makes it difficult to focus. The surgeon removed 4 lbs of skin below the belly button. I had a huge hernia that needed too be repaired also. That is what most of my pain is from. I have to wear compression garment for 5 weeks -

I'm still not allowed to get to the last page of the chat. In this forum I can only go to page 5 and it says seven. I have uninstalled and installed once again and still same problem. I'm on the android app -

4 miles yesterday, total of 14.21. Today is surgery day, so for the rest of the month I need to get 9 miles... Strange to think I will slow down so much... Wish me luck, I'll check in later. Surgery is not until 3 mst, so it will be late or tomorrow...=)

What I thought were gas pains turned out to be major blood clots.

Glad your on the mend! Where in Denver are you located? I'm in Aurora, there are a few of us around this board... It would be fun to do a meet and greet -
I finished W8D1, a bit sore, don't think I can run today. Was hoping I could get finished before surgery tomorrow. Sick kids and preparations got in the way... Hopefully I won't fall to far back after cleared in 6 weeks
