Sick Of It!
bettyanne6249 replied to bettyanne6249's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I haven't had any Tylenol since 6am and no Vicodin since yesterday afternoon and my lightheadedness and dizziness has disappeared. Really hoping that is was what causing it! and I'm not in that much pain or discomfort today -

I had my surgery 6 days ago. I wish so bad I had a recliner. That sounds like heaven right now compared to this couch lol. I pray we all get a good nights sleep. -
Cheating On Liquid Diet
bettyanne6249 replied to The New Tasha's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I cheated two days before and I was on liquid for a month. It was like a wake up call for me. It was impulsive. It wasn't even good. I cried for about an hour and a half. I had to wait 13 hours before I could get an answer if I was allowed surgery or not. I got 4 hours of sleep that night...looking back, I realized that cheating wasn't worth the misery. My nurse didnt even care that I had a sandwhich, but I am more motivated to be successful at this surgery. I hope that you don't worry like I did and I'm sure you'll be fine, but food is just not worth making my life miserable anymore. Sorry, I ranted lol. -

Need Suggestions On What To Tell Young Kids

Also, explain that your new tummy can't eat much now because it is healing. But that you will be able to eat in the future. -
Need Suggestions On What To Tell Young Kids
bettyanne6249 replied to Barisaxylady's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Just tell her you are having surgery on your stomach. If she asks for more info, tell her. She may not understand and just shrug her shoulders and move on. You can also tell her and your three year old that mommy may need lots of help so they can be your special helpers. They will probably be more interested in that anyway -
I am sooo excited to get bras from there!! Lane Bryant never has my size in store... Always have to buy online. So excited to shop at Victoria's Secret :) I can't even wait to buy those cute bottoms that say PINK on the butt

Thanks! I was wondering because most weight gain stories I've heard are those who have had the RNY. Glad I got the sleeve!

Does anyone know who is more likely to gain weight back?

Possibly Tmi: Read With Caution
bettyanne6249 replied to ebthompson2010's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Have you been drinking broth? That could make it look like oil on top. My urine looked like that when I was in the hospital. -
Had my surgery Tuesday morning... Tonight running a small fever with chills and leg aches. Normal? It's like 98.4. My normal is 97.3. I took two Tylenol
-
I had some problems getting in milk. Maybe because it's thicker than clear liquids but i was more uncomfortable after drinking milk and eating yogurt. I am able to get water in. I need more I'm sure. I feel my legs are achey because of the fever and not painful like maybe a blood clot would be. Either way im calling in the morning If I'm not better
-
Now it's at 100.4. I plan on calling in the morning. I'm on Vicodin and I took two Tylenol. Hopes its okay. They were giving me morphine and tylenol is the hospital. Man I hope I don't regret this surgery.
