Does anyone know if this soup blends well? I'm going in on Monday morning, and the thing that scares me the most is the puréed stage.

I'm just starting my 2 week preop liquid diet tomorrow. I'm starting out pretty much where you did - 5'2" and 205. You look amazing!! Thanks for giving me such hope!

My date is 10.1.12 too! My 2 week pre-op diet is full liquids. Not looking forward to it at all!!

Hi Everyone. I'm pretty new here. I've been lurking for a while, but decided to take the plunge and post a quick question. I've seen a lot of people on here say that their doctor discontinued diabetes medication only 2 or 3 days post-op. How is it they determine it's ok to do that? I'm on Metformin 2x daily, as well as 2 shots of Levemir. A little more info - I'm 5'2" and currently weigh 204. I'm in the process of completing all the steps necessary for insurance approval, and I'm hoping for a surgery date sometime before the end of October. Thanks in advance!
