Had my surgery on June 27th. Thought it was great, up walking around in less than 2 hours. Required to stay 2 nights. Went home didn't even get pain prescription filled! Didn't need it. This was Friday 29th of June. Sunday night started feeling sore? tired? At the emergency room Monday night. Said it was phemonia, admitted me. Tuesday was awful kept getting worse. Wednesday July 4th emergency visit to the or. Found a leak. Was told they didnt open me up and fix the leak because there was too much infection. So the Dr. said we should let it heal on it's own. Should take about 30 days. Spend the next 2 weeks in the hospital. Allowed to go home. 2 jp drains, and a pick-line for my tpn, antibiotics, and to draw blood. Been back to the hospital 3 times for a scope to see how it's progressing. Still feel like crap. Constant gagging and spitting. Still feel tired, weak. Somebody please tell me it will get better. It's been 6 weeks now. Still on the tpn, and jp drains.
