I hope everyone does well and gets better soon too, I'm 5 months post surgery and struggling with depression, I'm always on the defense and very bad mood swings :-(

I'm 5 months post op and still don't feel myself at times I'm very depressed and although I'm loosing weight i don't feel myself at all. I've been extra emotional since the surgery too :-( I have no motivation and don't feel like working out, instead a drink here and there will make things better. I was thinking of consulting my surgeon but not sure what to do about it.

Could it be that my sleeve is completely healed and now the swelling went away ? Please help ! I ate half of a wrap chicken salad, threw away the wrap and just ate the chicken salad on thursday but have been in pain since then, maybe i over ate or it was too heavy for me ?

I definitely waited about 8 weeks before my first drink, now i can't seem to stop drinking, i need to stop bc i'm afraid of what the consequences will be later on. I have a very stressful job so at night i like a vodka and crystal light, definitely will stop from today forward. maybe i should start working out instead drinking :-)

i was sleeved 9/19/12 and just started noticing my hair is falling out :-( I'm wondering how long will it e before i see it not falling anymore 4 months post surgery.

I WAS SLEEVE ON 9/19/12 AND HAVE ONLY LOST 38LBS. IVE BEEN STALLING EVERY MONTH, SO DON'T FEEL BAD IT HAPPENS, HOPEFULLY I CAN GIVE MY WEIGHT LOSS A LITTLE PUSH NEXT WEEK WHEN I START THE GYM.

HI everyone, next week will be 3 months of having surgery and I find myself without ENERGY, with no desire to do anything, not sure what the problem is but IM NERVOUS, I need to give my weight loss a push but can't seem to get ANY ENERGY at all. My feet and hands are always cold too, not sure what that is all about either. Does anyone have any suggestions for me ? Will see surgeon tomorrow and plan on telling him what it's going on.

thank you all for the advice, i deeply appreciate it, went to the doctor today and he recommend me to see my primary care doctor right away, he also told me to start the exercise routine, continue with the protein and LOTS of water daily, he thinks i may be dehydrated, so i will listen to him and make sure i do all that, 2 months ago he said my blood work was normal but he wants me to have another one in 2 weeks bc i see him again on 1/24/12. I feel confident that following his advise i will definitely get/feel better :-) Again, thank you all for the advice !!

the protein is not regular, i'm actually sick of them so sometimes i don't drink the protein shakes and water is not enough either, need to improve on both but very hard I'm usually not thirsty so i don't drink as much :-(

I've only lost 36 lbs. and on 12/19/12 it will be 3 months :-( I gave up already and don't let it get to me anymore, i noticed that when i least weight myself that's when i do loose weight, so don't pay no mind and just keep going :-) Good Luck !!

I agree with DELTAGIRL, same thing happened to me today UGH !!!

I get nassau when i don't take my medication in the morning before i have food and I only get them when I drink too fast and when I'm full, no other time though, hang in there, maybe it's all gas :-) 3 months next Wednesday :-)

I'm 3 months post surgery and doing well with the salads, i think i was about 7-8 weeks when i started, yest. i had a mixed salad called "Modena" and noticed that both days i got sharp shooting pain in my stomach and felt very bloated after having it but I think it was because the salad has green peppers and purple cabbage chopped up, so maybe those 2 things made me bloated ? Not sure I will see my doctor tomorrow 12/13/12 and will mention that to him. Good luck !!

no with me it's the opposite, my acne has improved, sorry to hear your getting acne, your hormones are not balance :-( they will get better !!

thank you all for the supporting words, starting the gym on monday so looking forward to speed up the weight loss that way !!

this coming wednesday and only 30 lbs down, stalling and hungry all the time !! has anyone struggling like i am ??

Oh Ok i was sleeve on 9/19 this wednesday will be 8 weeks and like i said, I'm very hungry and without energy to workout, i will try to do some exercise today see how i feel, i have the elliptical at home and i can always go to the gym too. let's see what happens tonight lol

for those who want to know about my exercise, my doctor said 3 months but i don't know why so long, he said i'm still healing and it's too soon. So Im gonna follow his rules. for those who wanted to know about my food, i only eat 3 times per day and not a lot at all.

not loosing weight like others have, this friday the 19th It will be my 1 month anniversary and have only lost 14lbs, total 25lbs since the pre-surgery diet. could i be doing something wrong ? please get back to me with some feedback.

thanks for your feedback from all of you, not exercising yet, my doctor said 3 months and not even a month yet, so i guess i have to wait. maybe I'm just over reacting, i have done research and noticed how everyone drops weight like there is no tomorrow. i will see the doctor this week so i will ask him about my blood work, if everything is normal.
