Surgery date 1/3/13 down 114 and 32 till goal. Started pre op diet at 317, surgery day 296 and today I am 182!! Can't believe it!

I was sleeved in jan oc kaiser process was great! This was the best decision ever!

I was sleeved 1/3/2013 Start weight 317 Op date 296 Today 187 Don't have very many or "good" before photos. I hid from the camera! Not any more!!!!!

Thanks for everyone's wonderful comments! Feels great changing my life! Um for tips I would say the biggest thing is following what your surgeon says to the T. I made sure (and still do) that I get all my Protein and Water in daily. I don't eat hardly any carbs and I make sure to exercise few days a week at least. I think sometimes we worry about over eating due to old habit and then don't get enough calories.... IMO I think it slows WL down. Over all have fun doing it. This is our new "normal" so go with it and begin enjoying life!

Close to 7 months out 109 down since surgery!

I got them a lot right after surgery. Not as much now but still more frequently then before surgery.

I swear I almost wrestled my 2 year old for a quesadilla when I was a couple weeks out. I'm now close to 7 months out and down 110 pounds! Best decision of my life! Stay strong! You'll be so glad you did! Good luck!

I work in healthcare as well as my husband in a major hospital that has ALOT of trauma patients of all ages. I highly recommend for advanced directives and wills to be completed no matter what your age and health is. Sent from my iPhone using VST

You look great! And dont think of them as awkward silences but more like pauses in conversation. Take that time to think of more things to ask or maybe you won't even have them. When I first started dating my husband we had AlOT of pauses in conversation! He is VERY quiet when getting to know some one. So I just kinda would bring up stuff about myself and that would initiate more conversation and then I grew comfortable with the pauses.... Sorry ramble!
