I am 41 years old and the mother of 2. I decided that surgery was my final option in my ongoing weight battle. I married the love of my life in 1990 and weighed 147#. I seemed to have averaged a weight gain of 10# every year until I topped out at 370#. I was shocked and disgusted with myself. My husband died unexpectedly in March 2010 and I am now raising my children alone. My determination for a successful outcome is as strong as it has ever been. I am the only parent now and I need to be healthy and active so I can teach my children how to live healthy and happy. I have alot of support from my family and friends and I know I can do this!
