    Crazy Good Protein Coffee Drink

I got that from Whole Foods as well. They carry the large containers of it, but I've seen it at Walmart and other grocery stores in small single serve cartons. It's called Oh so good plus. I buy the unsweetened variety.

    Crazy Good Protein Coffee Drink

It's very similar to an iced coffee that you would get from McDonald's. Only without the carbs, fat, and calories of their drink plus tons of Protein.

    Crazy Good Protein Coffee Drink

I tasted the first one and gave it to my wife. She thinks Protein shakes are disgusting, but she loved that drink!
  5. Try it. I did vanilla unjury with plain Fage zero. Then I added the usual cinnamon and a bit of splenda. It makes the greek yogurt extra filling to your stomach.

Unjury and Greek Yogurt - Pretty Yummy

Subscribe to the unjury channel on YouTube. They have some good stuff on there. And no I have no relationship with Unjury other than being a pleased customer.
  7. It all depends on the doctor. Almost everyone gets an EGD. I had a slight hiatal hernia that was diagnosed during the EGD. I didn't have any issues with reflux issues though.

    Make your own protein bars

Check out Pinterest. There are lots of recipes out there. Most involve whey powder, peanut butter, and oats.

    New Syntrax Flavor!

    Caribbean Cooler is awesome!
  11. Unjury is very good so is Syntrax Nectar. They are very similar in terms of taste, but Nectar comes in more flavors.
  12. Cut a little premixed light crystal light into the isopure. It's still disgusting, but more tolerable that way.

    poop question tmi

No. You are still healing and your diet is off. If I remember correctly, it took me about 4-6 for things to get back to normal. My PA pretty much told me at the 6 week point the healing process is complete (at least internally).
  14. Yep. You want to give your brain time to realize that you are full. That was a major problem I had before surgery. I would eat fast and take a long time to feel full. Now I just need to work on the eating fast thing :-)
  15. The first priority is always Protein and water. As far as the vitamins go, what do you take? Check with your doctor on specifics, but you shouldn't be taking any old gummy Vitamin. You need vitamins formulated specifically for WLS. There are several different brands and options to pick, just make sure they meet your doctor's specs. Calcium citrate is also a requirement for your bones.
  16. You are dead on with this one. You pretty much have to watch your vitamin levels and take them for the rest of your life. I know a RNY patient that decided to stop take Vitamins and really messed himself up. Anytime anything serious is going on call the doctor. That's what we pay them for.

    poop question tmi

solid food = solid poop liquid food = liquid poop It will pass and everything will be back to normal once you start having solid food again.
  18. I'm in twoerland (which is the same as onederland for you), and I have to agree it feels awesome! The last time I was there was about 2001/2002. I can't wait to break the 240 mark. That was the lowest weight of my adult life!

    3 month follow up visit

The weight loss all depends on the person. I'm dropping weight like a wild man averaging more than 5 pounds per week. I also workout 7 days a week for at least 45 minutes a day. Today I worked out for nearly 2 hours. Of course the higher your initial BMI is the faster you are going to lose. I know what you mean about looking in the mirror and seeing a bigger person looking back a you. I've lost 12 inches from my waistline and dropped 2 shirt sizes. My mind still hasn't been able to comprehend that :-)

    Please help me!

I'm not sure what your doctor's pre-op diet is like, but I could only have shakes. The shakes could be with or without skim milk. That was the only flexibility I had.

Post-Op Day 5: Worried I feel too normal!

Your surgery sounds a lot like mine. I had no morphine based pain meds whatsoever when I got home or anything for pain for that matter. I didn't have a morphine pump in the hospital either. I had some Tylenol via the IV, but nothing to make me loopy. I never threw up, never had any serious pain, or stomach issues. I agree with what everyone says in this thread. Take it easy and follow the orders from the doctor. Don't progress into other things until you have clearance. A surgeon told me that almost of the leaks he sees are from people not following diet initially. They almost always leak at the top of the stomach where all of the pressure is.
  23. None, other than the regret of not doing this years ago.
  24. I'm really liking what I see from Seasons 52's website. Thanks for the information.
