  1. I know this question is a little out of the ordinary, but here goes I had my surgery on August 13th, So far everything has beed great. I am eating and drinking and have already lost 25 pounds post op and 14 pre (from 6/25) My problem is that I have notice that it has been more difficult to read small print and even some larger print if the lighting is not just right. I have an appointment at the eye doctor tomorow (it is well overdue my last one was 3 years ago) I was just wondering if this could be related to the surgergy. Maybe it is something with my blood chemistry or lack of Vitamins, Has anyone had or heard of anyone having this problem. Thanks

    And The Survey Says.....

Dear Imgoing to lose it My wife did extensive research as well. My wife had the sleeve on July 16 and I had it on August 13th. We are both been very happy with our choice of the sleeve Your stomach is so small that you feel up after a few once of food You do not have the cravings as you did before I was a cronic night eater and also loved to go back for seconds and thirds Keep in mind that you will have to learn to add exercise to your daily routine with you want to lose the weight I hope this will help you make up your mind

    Rating Protein Shakes

I am using the Jay Robb protein. I have tried the vanilla, chocolate and strawberry so far and it is pretty good
  4. My wife would probably agree with you. She had her surgery on July 16, 2012 The surgery went well but she had a lot of nausea and a little pain. She had to stay over night in the hospital She also developed a localized infection that was not risky just a pain in the ass to treat. She is 4 weeks in and has lost 25 pounds She progressing ok on the food front but it has taken a while to get uses to each stage. I on the other hand I had my surgery on August 13, 2012. I had no nausea or pain and was discharged from the hospital that day. I have had no problem so far with the liquid foods and have lost 16 pounds in 6 days.
  5. I am really happy with my initial results. Would love to know if this is normal. The liquid diet has been really boring. Would love to hear how others have made it through the first 2 weeks having the same things over and over again.
