Being able to sit crossed legged on the couch, not having to call in a crane when I need to get up off the floor, and most off all, not feeling like a fat woman has been standing on my feet all day! -

I just told everyone the truth...and if a waiter raises his/her eyebrows when I order or eat off my husband's plate, I tell them as well. The truth will set you free! I don't think this surgery is anything to be ashamed of. I was more ashamed of being obese! -

Glad you went to the ER. Getting fluids in is my biggest challenge as well. Because of my lack of hydration I got a huge hemroid which had to be surgically removed (I know TMI) and the surgeon said it was caused by lack of fluid. Can I just say sitting on a donut with a bunch of stitches in your bum is no fun! I'm trying to drink more!!! -

First off, you are an amazing woman and mother! I am so sorry you are having a leak and I hope the rest of your recovery goes as smoothly as possible. Your bright spirit and positive attitude are so inspiring. I will keep you in my daily prayers. Good luck with your talk with your doctor. I think she is probably freaked out about the leak...but that's no excuse for bad behavior. God be with you and please keep us posted.
